Or are full fringes really old fashioned now?!

Just that really! I've cut myself what I thought was a lovely full fringe in and everyone is now telling me they are so 90's! 😂

Iabu- they are old
Ianbu - still cute

I've had once SINCE the 1990's , so probably the wrong person to ask😊

TheChosenTwo · 23/10/2021 16:05

I bloody LOVE a full fringe! I get one cut in every few years and instantly regret it as I can never dry my hair like the hairdresser and my hair type is stupidly coarse and wavy so I never get it to sit right, I then spend the next 4 months with it pinned up until it’s long enough to pass off as layers Grin
A thick, full fringe is my favourite though, I’m jealous!

TeaStory · 23/10/2021 16:05

If you like it, why does it matter what someone else thinks about what is fashionable or not?

Heartsandroses · 23/10/2021 16:05

I have the worlds biggest forehead so I need a fringe to hide it
I love mine-I’d have it even if I didn’t have such a high hair line
I wear mine a tiny bit longer and don’t give a stuff what anyone thinks-plus the 90’s are back in fashion now
It suits me so I don’t care!

RandomUsernameHere · 23/10/2021 16:08

I have no idea but read the title as full "fridge" for some reason, I'm obviously thinking about food! I'm sure your hair looks great though OP!

Moonlaserbearwolf · 23/10/2021 16:09

Well the 90s is currently on trend so you must the height of fashion!

weekend2021 · 23/10/2021 16:21

I love them - Maura Higgins has just had one done and it looks amazing.
Although like most things, I think it depends on your overall style or look.

PuppyMonkey · 23/10/2021 16:25

Have had a full fringe since I was at school in the 1980s, I can't bear to be without one. It covers my frowny forehead up a treat.Grin

Atmywitsend29 · 23/10/2021 16:26

I regularly cut a full fringe in, and then grow it out. And then cut it in. It's a thing Grin

loobylou10 · 23/10/2021 16:29

Had a fringe all my life. Hope they're still fashionable!!

MrsTulipTattsyrup · 23/10/2021 16:29

My incredibly stylish mama has had one since 1962, and she still looks amazing. If it looks good on you, and you like it, wear it.

Things go in and out of fashion, but if you like a style and want to keep it, then own it.

I haven’t got enough forehead for a fringe but would love one!
hotmeatymilk · 23/10/2021 16:31

I love and adore a full fringe and only don’t have one because fucking PCOS has baldified me so all
I would have is a wisp Sad

Chloemol · 23/10/2021 16:32

Ihave a fringe and always have had

Personally I don’t care what people think, I also wear clothes I like that may not be in ‘fashion’ now including long boots that are 20 years old

Who cares, I dont

BestZebbie · 23/10/2021 16:33

Dunno - I have a full straight "twilight sparkle" fringe now but in the 90s we all had asymmetric fringes totally covering one eye, much to the annoyance of parents...

OverByYer · 23/10/2021 16:33

I’ve got a slap head so need a fringe. I think anything goes hair wise. I wear mine side parted and wavy

pompomsgalore · 23/10/2021 16:36

Just look at the beautiful Claudia Winklman. I want her fringe

VividGemini · 23/10/2021 16:37

Fringes are in but they are more wispy now!

HesterShaw1 · 23/10/2021 16:41

I also read it as "full fridge" and was extremely puzzled.

I love a fringe! But my wave hair falls like curtains from a very centre parting, and I have a very thin hairline so can't have one. Shame, as it would hide my forehead lines and frown.

PaolaDiLorenzo · 23/10/2021 16:43

I've always had one, I don't like my forehead so I can't imagine not having a fringe.

godmum56 · 23/10/2021 16:44

I am 67 and have had a fringe since I was 11. Who is this "everyone?"

malificent7 · 23/10/2021 17:16

I just got one....love it so much. Frames my face, covers wrinkles and frowns, looks great!

Ponoka7 · 23/10/2021 17:18

I don't think that women's hair or be dies should be things that are in or out of fashion. Go with what you like.

Ihopeyourcakeisshit · 23/10/2021 17:22

I love a fringe, I look younger with one.
I don't give a flying fart whether it's 'in'

LadyCrawley · 23/10/2021 17:26

Every response made me smile with absolute joy

I can imagine you all look incredible with your fringes!

I currently feel a bit like Draco Malfoy but I'm dead certain I will love it once I've washed and styled it Grin
