Or are full fringes really old fashioned now?!

Just that really! I've cut myself what I thought was a lovely full fringe in and everyone is now telling me they are so 90's! 😂

Iabu- they are old
Ianbu - still cute

I think they're lovely.

username49483 · 23/10/2021 17:32

I have had one all my life! Mainly to cover my big forehead and 90s over plucked eyebrows that no longer grow Grin

Magpiecomplex · 23/10/2021 17:34

I've had one cut back in after years without, to hide the wrinkles better! Love it...

Iloveallofthem · 23/10/2021 17:35

I have a fringe. I also have a heart shaped face and everyone always says it suits me. Have always had one.

Love fringes

madisonbridges · 23/10/2021 17:36

I look better with a fringe, or a side swept fringe but just something on my forehead. It's immaterial what's fashionable, wear what suits you. And what you like!

Thekormachameleon · 23/10/2021 17:36

I live my fringe. I've grown it out a few times but never feel I look like me without one. I have a very thick full fringe and yes, maintenance is a bore but I love my fringe

DramaAlpaca · 23/10/2021 17:37

I've a high forehead and I need a fringe.

Ihopeyourcakeisshit · 23/10/2021 17:37

I look like Ozzie Osbourne without a fringe.
Much as it works for him it really doesn't work for me. Confused

OnwardsAndSideways1 · 23/10/2021 17:41

Over fifty, don't bother with Botox, get a fringe! Love mine.

Thesummeriwas16 · 23/10/2021 17:48

I've always had a fringe too and so do loads of my friends - fringes rock!!

Boulshired · 23/10/2021 17:49

I have never had my eyebrows done because of my fringe. My hair lies too flat at the top without a fringe.

Ihopeyourcakeisshit · 23/10/2021 17:51

Yes, I agree with the botox comment.

madisonbridges · 23/10/2021 17:55

The length of the fringe in relation to your face is key. I think the Zeedan Nazir fringe is a warning to everybody.

M1lkyway · 23/10/2021 17:57

Perhaps for now. But the future is the past reinvented so I’m sure they will have their time again.

LittleDandelionClock · 23/10/2021 18:04

They look cute IMO.

GemmaRuby · 23/10/2021 18:05

I think saying its 90s is a compliment at the moment! You must be very on trend. Hopefully you’re pairing it with mom jeans and crop tops.

Ghoulette · 23/10/2021 18:18

I have a full, blunt, just above the brows fringe a la Krysten Ritter and have for years!

I find it so weird when people say things like fringes and bobs are so 90s.... it's a haircut.

Only exception was the hideous emo mess that was the early 2000s!

weegiemum · 23/10/2021 18:20

My hotly on-trend beauty student dd2 who is 17 has a thick fringe. Looks amazing on her!

Cam2020 · 23/10/2021 19:17

Go with what suits you and what you like!

MadisonAvenue · 23/10/2021 19:26

I’d been growing mine out for a year or so but had it cut back in last time I had my hair cut as I’ve always loved a full fringe with a bob.
But….I’d also recently started to wear glasses and it just doesn’t suit me with them so I’ve had it pinned back on top of my head since then.

I’ve been for a haircut today and was too embarrassed to say I wanted to grow it out again so I’ve just had the ends snipped and she cut it into a wispy side fringe.

Lynne1Cat · 23/10/2021 20:19

I looked at this and thought it said full FRIDGE Grin and wondered how one could be old-fashioned!

My hair is really fine, but I've got a fringe - it doesn't stay like it, it parts in the bloody middle! I like a fringe.

IGotHam · 23/10/2021 20:25

If you suit it, go for it. Ignore the naysayers Smile

longtompot · 23/10/2021 20:32

I am thinking of having a full fringe again (I'm almost 50). I had one a few years ago, and although drove me nuts when it got a bit long, I think I look quite nice with one. My only small issue is I have a bit of a cowlick, but it still looks ok.

Cryalot2 · 23/10/2021 20:33

Go for what suits you. I have had a fringe most of my life in one variation or another. I have out grew it and back it is. Dh or myself trim it as it grows quickly.
There is no rule book .
Enjoy your hair.

Letsallscreamatthesistene · 23/10/2021 20:40

Erm I had a fringe cut in last month and love it!
