Enjoyed watching Tilly over the last few weeks . Did well last week and seems to be enjoying herself .Why then does Steve Allen(67 years old and not exactly an oil painting!) feel the need to comment on her weight "Shes a chubby little thing" he was overheard saying about her. Really gets me annoyed!

Typical male entitlement, with absolutely no feeling of a need for a filter for his judgmental misogynistic fucking mouth. Quite frankly if I were Gordon or Tilly or her mother, I'd like to bloody slap him in it.

He has a history of saying offensive things, last time he came to public attention was for mocking a blind persons choice of service animal.
Clearly this method (of being nasty) is the only way he can achieve being in the public eye. I'm guessing that Tilly has more viewers than he has listeners.

Good grief - she's a lovely young woman and seems very pleasant in personality. And even if she wasn't it's not his place to comment. I hope she is able to brush off such comments if she sees them, I worry about young people on TV being badly hurt by this sort of crap.
I love her enthusiasm, she's really thrown herself into the whole experience.

Tilly is great. Loved her strong and passionate dance last week. (& the amazing hair do). Thought she looked a bit nervous but whatever.

Tilly is on 2 prime time shows and has 9million tiktok followers. This old man is just of no significance and appears to be very stupid.

This reminds me of my own dad's. My dad feels entitled to comment on my greying hair every time I see him, despite his own hair having been completely white for years. My step dad feels entitled to comment on my choices and those of strangers. They both get short thrift

She's there for the same reason Joe the vlogger, sister of the make up blogger was there. Popular in their own demographic. Totally unknown to me like every single one of the other contestants. Wait- I knew Greg what's his name. That's it.

Why do you feel the need to comment on his age and physical appearance?

Why not just say his comments were inappropriate?

VeniVidiVeeVee Well he is commenting on a pretty young girl ,who at only 19 is starting out on her journey .He like a lot of men by the seems of some of these replies ,seems to feel he is entitled to comment on young womens weight! I simply was implying that hes in no position to comment on anyones appearance !

I would never normally comment on his appearance or any bloke like him, there are millions who look like that anyway. But I think if you make personal and unnecessary comments about someone's appearance publicly then you invite that kind of personal comment about your own appearance or character.

Plus there is a serious problem in this country, and probably around the world, with fuck ugly men thinking they are God's gift to the world and that they have a right to comment on any woman or girl who does not provide fodder for their mental wank bank.

Not that it is any better if a good looking man does it, but it seems particularly pot/kettle if the person making the comment is a right ugly fucker.
