New neighbour just stuck her head in my window

New neighbours moved in during the week. Last lot were a quiet friendly bunch, but these new ones have been nothing but trouble. On the first night they broke into my garden, ruined my little veg patch and pulled down a sunshade and pooed on my decking. I went and sorted them out and thought that was the end of it but just as I was settling down with a cuppa to watch TV one of them stuck her head in the window and screeched at me.
AIBU to ask the farmer to move the goats to another field and bring back the cows?

Grin If you complain you might get sheep. They're bastards for escaping, and aren't as open to reasonable neighbourly discussion. Eg 'hi neighbours, thank you for mowing the flowerbeds, I'll now be herding you back this way' Goat 'ok' Sheep 'actually we don't fancy the pasture at home, so we'll just split up, with some of us heading towards a road and the rest of us finding a fence or dead end we can get stuck in'
TigerDroveAgain · 09/10/2021 21:01

My mum put an old and horrible vinyl armchair in her goats’ field so she could sit and watch them. The bastard goats ate it, completely.

midsomermurderess · 09/10/2021 21:04

I'm kind of fond of goats, but they are rapacious bastards, it has to be said.

IrishMel · 09/10/2021 21:05

Great thread, lifted the mood. Very funny....oh bring her in to keep you company

AmyDudley · 09/10/2021 21:10

I once viewed a house for sale in a rural part of Scotland and while I was looking round some sheep wandered in and pottered about. Not sure if they were also viewing or whether they were the owners Grin

fruckkkit · 09/10/2021 21:11
