First of all polls aren't essays. They usually ask Yes/No or ABCD questions
So the answer should be No, to voting for the tories unless you think they are capable and want them to run our country. Because if you vote for them, you are putting them in the seat and responsible for that outcome .
I think most people are fairly apathetic - hence my "stick with what we have" interpretation. (I think people have an "all as bad as each other" view very often). If we had a credible opposition I think people would be galvanised
If people aren't galvanised at how this country is being run country I'm not sure what else will do that, I am shocked..
Thirdly I did not vote for them and if you read my post I'm giving a possible explanation for the pp's questions about why the Tories are still in power. I'm NOT saying that's what I think
I am giving a response to what you are saying, if you don't think or agree with what you are writing and its a possibility of what people may think then that's who my response is aimed at.
And in the end we have to choose - or simply not vote. And if the choices are all shit some people do choose not to vote but many will go for the least worst option
But I'm not sure who still think Boris Jonson is the least worse option, out of all the parties, how can they look at this country and still believe he is best placed to run it. And don't vote for him just because "labour doesn't represent you" or other such statements people tripe out, it's infuriating and part of the problem.
