Calling all list writers (light hearted)

Macaroni46 · 27/09/2021 13:31

This is a light hearted thread.
I've been wondering - if you like writing lists, as I do, if you complete a task that was not on the list, do you then add it on to the list and then cross it off?
Or am I completely barking mad? 🙈😂

I always do this - glad it’s not just me! Smile

TheSmallAssassin · 27/09/2021 13:33

Yes, I often do this, I want the "credit" Grin

Wilderflower · 27/09/2021 13:34

All. The. Time.

HedgehogintheFog · 27/09/2021 13:35

Always!

Orangesandlemons82 · 27/09/2021 13:35

Yes! I always do that! And enjoy drawing a little box next to the task and putting a tick in it 😳

Rainallnight · 27/09/2021 13:35

I do this!

LemonJuiceFromConcentrate · 27/09/2021 13:36

I don’t think you’re a real list-writer if you don’t do this.

ItsAChalkengingWank · 27/09/2021 13:36

I make a list then number them in order I need to them like a child. I need that direction or Id get no where still use my fingers to count too

the80sweregreat · 27/09/2021 13:37

Yes, only way I remember to do anything these days or what to buy when I'm out

Calendulaaaaa · 27/09/2021 13:37

Professional list writers actually recommend it for the feeling of achievement. So I have to.

whoknows1230 · 27/09/2021 13:40

Yes I do!!

DinosaurFarmer · 27/09/2021 13:40

Of course! Smile

peruse · 27/09/2021 13:44

I always write a list at the start of the day and usually only complete a couple of things on that list, so at the end of the day I write a list of everything I did do to make myself feel better!

chesirecat99 · 27/09/2021 13:45

Yep! Grin

girlmom21 · 27/09/2021 13:47

I add them on and cross them off because everyone needs to know how much work I've done Grin

user1496146479 · 27/09/2021 14:54

Yes me too!!

Macaroni46 · 27/09/2021 16:16

Yay! Good to know I'm not alone 🤗

JulesJules · 27/09/2021 16:30

Of course!

Youdoyoutoday · 27/09/2021 16:30

Damn right! I've done it, I deserve the tick Grin

Fairyliz · 27/09/2021 16:55

Yes I also put outings in my diary eg walk with friend A after the event.
Otherwise I would feel like Billy no mates when I flick back through my diary Grin

Macaroni46 · 27/09/2021 17:12

@Fairyliz ooh I do that too 😊

I don’t know about adding things I’ve already done but I always put in a few things I obviously will do - make dinner - teeth, face, bed. As a PP said I like the credit!

afaloren · 27/09/2021 17:20

Absolutely! And I write ‘make list’ and cross that off first!

greedygut · 27/09/2021 17:22

Yes ✔️✔️✔️
