Mlm's where have they all gone?

Just that really...realised the other day they all seem to have vanished from my Facebook newsfeed...have these huns finally woken up to the fact that these are a scam and they will never make any money.

Oh now you say that i havent seen any in a while. Maybe ive just finally succeeded in blocking everyone who pushes them!

No they're still out there, preying on vulnerable women.

I still see MLMs, but it seems to be mostly perfume now.

I think a lot have changed tactics after the various documentaries exposing them.

I have noticed that every answer on my local recommendation group no longer involves Tropic

I just checked our local bargains group and few of our expat community pages which were rife with this and...
Nothing. Except 1 perfume one.

It is very strange....Younique seems to have vanished and i can't even find any Body Shop huns on my newsfeed....the only hun i've got is an Oriflame 'presenter'.

I still have a Lumispa one but everyone else is quiet

@myusernamewastakenbyme somehow I don't have a problame with oriflame. And avon. I knew few who were doing it a LONG time ago. I think there is no investment in it, is there? And push to recruit

Actually yeah they have been pretty quiet recently, apart from the body shop one that still pops up every now and then.

My local Body Shop person has recently announced that she has moved on to a new exciting opportunity, so far I have resisted joining her special new group to find out what it is.

Just one body shopper left on my FB feed. The Tropicpushers are silent.

I still have a vocal bodyshop one, but she lives on my road so maybe I'm just more aware - apparently you're not doing Christmas right if it doesn't involve a pot of banana mud.

But it's true, Forever Living used to be rife around here, but it's just crickets. There is someone plugging wax melts, but from the little notice I took it doesn't seem to be mlm. I haven't even seen the Utility Warehouse mad couple pop up on any energy threads recently.

There's more and more work available from home that pays actual money.

MLM was appealing to people desperate for something they could do flexibly and from home. There are more and more opportunities where you get these benefits but also actually earn money, whereas 95% of people doing MLM do not.

I have a Younique one, such a shame too. If it was a genuine business, I'd support her 100% but not this MLM.

Oh I love an mlm rabbit hole. There's a huge mlm company in America who have just had (another) documentary come out on Amazon prime, Lularich. Maybe people are starting to see through it all now?

Most of mine have gone quiet but the most irritating one (Arbonne) is still constantly posting on Insta about her amazing life filled with travel opportunities and luxury goods that she achieves by spending 90 seconds on her laptop every day (absolute bollocks, as those of us who know her IRL are aware). She does make a fairly decent amount from her MLM "business" (sales job) but she's one of the 0.001% who do. In reality though she is a very unhappy person whose personal life is a complete mess. You'd never know it from her socials though because she's a #blessed #bossbabe.

A friend of mine who was body shop is now doing Darcy's Candles and something else which I can't remember.
