I'm taking my DD for 3 nights in London for her 16th birthday present. I'm planning to see Wicked at the Apollo Victoria theatre, natural History Museum, a days shopping. Any other suggestions for activities/museums welcome too. I'm looking for suggestions what area of London is best to stay in or any hotel suggestions (travelodge, Premier Inn type budget).

We stayed at the Premier Inn next to the Tate Modern in the summer and it was good.

Premier inn Euston is the one we usually stay at - much better than travelodge.

thanks everyone. Premier inn booked. Do we need oyster cards for the tube, buses etc or can we pay card?

Contactless works instead of oyster - use the same card each time.
Remember to book the museums. A 16 year old would probably like the H&M on Regent St.

Camden market is good if you are there over a weekend (not sure how much is there at weekends) lots of food stalls. Also all the clothes / record / random things stalls.

The hub by premier inn brand is absolutely excellent quality and value for money. The st James or Westminster branches would be a fab location for you
