To have spent the afternoon I’m ‘hun heaven’ (lighthearted)

I wanted to raise a smile on this otherwise unremarkable Sunday.

Was looking down a friend’s FB and holiday photos today and the comments that ensued:
“Where’s that hun?”
Reply - “Lulworth Coce hun”

Cue much hunning and lolling in comments there after.

I almost commented - “if you two were into fishing you could call yourselves the ‘Net Huns’ .... but I thought it may not be appreciated ...

You have to love the Book of Face...

I also love the Facebook ‘emergency response’ memes..
“U ok hun?”
“Inbox me hun”

Hope everybody else’s day has been as productive/constructive as mine! 😂

Hun is without a doubt, the most irritating 'word' in the world.

3scape · 12/09/2021 19:32

Can someone translate?

StormyTeacups · 12/09/2021 19:34

A friend, you say?

the80sweregreat · 12/09/2021 19:34

I hate the whole 'Hun' thing.
It is annoying

DrWankincense · 12/09/2021 19:34

Every time I see it I just think of Attila..

Noshowwithoutpunch · 12/09/2021 19:36

I couldn't be friends with someone who used 'Hun'.

DontPeeInThePlayHouse · 12/09/2021 19:37

Eurgh, the hun brigade.

Does anyone else find that everyone on Facebook market place instantly calls you hun?

Sp1ke3 · 12/09/2021 19:39

You alright hun?

10ColaBottles · 12/09/2021 19:39

I'm always slightly pleased when friends say hun (rare) makes me sure they are not MN-ers !

BreadmanAndCake · 12/09/2021 19:44

Absolutely cannot be doing with 'hunning'

PartyPotato · 12/09/2021 19:58

You should follow the Facebook page U K Hun? It’s incredible. I’m obsessed with the bizarreness of hun culture.

Soupsseason · 12/09/2021 20:01

Sounds like you've had a busy day hun. Sit yourself down with a cheeky prosecco

Inim · 12/09/2021 20:04

You’re really just being mean. Just let people be without making fun of them behind their backs ffs

Angrymum22 · 12/09/2021 20:16

I remember the post Miranda “amazeballs” and other phrases. Used frequently by the social climbing mums at my sons “posh” school. It was excruciating, they really thought that is was how the other half speak. Total lack of irony awareness.

Antinerak · 12/09/2021 20:17

Don't worry hun, what hun doesn't know won't hurt hun x
Thefaceofboe · 12/09/2021 20:27

LBirch02 · 12/09/2021 20:42

OMG there’s now a photo of someone on FB with the words hashtag hun beneath it.

I may need to sit down in a darkened room..

I don’t get it! Is this from something?

SW1amp · 12/09/2021 21:02

Have a look at the Love of Huns account on Instagram
It’s hun-tastic!

LBirch02 · 12/09/2021 21:02

It’s a parody of the tendency o Facebook for women to call each other ‘hun’ - the same demographic typically as would use lol
