Am I being unreasonable to think Sainsbury's is calling someone a Karen?

So either it's signing off as Karen, or calling someone Karen. Either way it seems a strange thing to do at the end of an official tweet.

Actually I realise what happened now. Google filled it in for me. It's one of Google options when you search sainsbos twitter.

Just complain about the squashed ice creams and leave Karen alone OP

The whole debacle about the use of the name Karen as an insult is awful OP. You are right to be upset. But I agree with PPs, this is probably just the user's name.

No doubt because she's offended someone the employee named Karen will be made to apologise and sign 'written by Karen' in future or something because the glaringly obvious fact that Karen is a name and might be someone's actual name is no where near as much drama as making a fuss about being offended and having loads of attention (and maybe free stuff) and 'customer service' bollocks.
