Am I being unreasonable to think Sainsbury's is calling someone a Karen?

So either it's signing off as Karen, or calling someone Karen. Either way it seems a strange thing to do at the end of an official tweet.

Have you checked other tweets to see if they sign off with a name?

Sparklesocks · 14/08/2021 23:17

She’s just signing her name. All of them do if you look at the rest of the feed.

jimmyhill · 14/08/2021 23:17

Zombie tweet

Sparklesocks · 14/08/2021 23:18

Also that tweet is a year old?

gwenneh · 14/08/2021 23:18

Sainsburys always signs off with the name of the person running their social media.

Most companies have whoever is on shift end their tweets with a name Hmm

ladygracie · 14/08/2021 23:18

This is quite old - it’s the sign off from whoever wrote the tweet. As I guess there are several people who could do it so each person maybe has to sign their own.

H8H8H8 · 14/08/2021 23:18

Their customer service team sign off tweets with their names.

H8H8H8 · 14/08/2021 23:19

Gosh. Lots of people answered in the few seconds it took me to type that!

PumpkinKlNG · 14/08/2021 23:19

Weird they were challenging people in my local one 🤣

LooksBetterWithAFaceMask · 14/08/2021 23:19

Sainsbury’s tweets they sign off with their name. Even the punctuation suggests it’s the name of the person rather than a continuation of the sentence.

AnnaSW1 · 14/08/2021 23:19

This was a year ago. And has been done to death. Karen Grin

HmmmmmmInteresting · 14/08/2021 23:19

Her name is Karen you fool

Longdistance · 14/08/2021 23:19

It’s the Sainsbury’s staff Twitter users name 🙄 nothing to get your underwear in a twist for.

Opalfeet · 14/08/2021 23:19

Oh I didn't know, I was just searching Sainsbury's Twitter to complain about my squashed icecreams and that was the results of my search. I thought it was quite funny

PumpkinKlNG · 14/08/2021 23:21

You should have started a thread about whether you was unreasonable to complain about your squashed ice creams instead 😬

Unhomme · 14/08/2021 23:21

Nice bit of faux rage there OP. Do you normally go looking for offence wherever it may be?

Opalfeet · 14/08/2021 23:22

@Longdistance my underwear is fine thanks. Thank you all for reminding me why I try and stay away from aibu. It was me at to be light-hearted obvs. But I shall just throw myself under a bus now for being such an inferior human being.

Your searching might need a bit of work, how did a search for ice creams and/or squashed return a year old tweet about masks ? Grin

LadyCatStark · 14/08/2021 23:28

Poor Karen, she can’t even sign her own name without people getting outraged in her behalf!
