Am I being unreasonable to think Sainsbury's is calling someone a Karen?

So either it's signing off as Karen, or calling someone Karen. Either way it seems a strange thing to do at the end of an official tweet.

Have you checked other tweets to see if they sign off with a name?

She’s just signing her name. All of them do if you look at the rest of the feed.

Sainsburys always signs off with the name of the person running their social media.

Most companies have whoever is on shift end their tweets with a name

This is quite old - it’s the sign off from whoever wrote the tweet. As I guess there are several people who could do it so each person maybe has to sign their own.

Their customer service team sign off tweets with their names.

Sainsbury’s tweets they sign off with their name. Even the punctuation suggests it’s the name of the person rather than a continuation of the sentence.

Your searching might need a bit of work, how did a search for ice creams and/or squashed return a year old tweet about masks ?

Poor Karen, she can’t even sign her own name without people getting outraged in her behalf!
