I don't see many hooped earring when out and about so I suppose that means they're out of fashion.

I honestly have no idea, but if you like them, that's all that matters.

I think it just depends on how you’re otherwise presenting yourself as with most things really. I like hoops and I’m early 20s, don’t care what anyone else thinks though 🤣 I’ve always look at other women with hoops and thought they looked gorgeous. Idk if that helps you?

Huggies which are very small hoops which hug the ear are popular especially with multiple piercings.

I only really wear hoops, pretty big ones, and I'm almost 50. I like how they look on me and they suit how I like to dress.

I think the ginormous ones are out of fashion but small hoops are a classic in my opinion.

No specific item is 'chavvy', surely? It's how they're matched with outfits, hairstyles etc that determine whether they're suited or out of place.

I wear these all the time and no-one has ever said anything (though I wouldn't care if they did). I would wear bigger ones but I'm afraid of catching them at work and being pulled out.

I have 3 hoops in one ear and five in the other. I often find that because they are fairly slim and not the sort you could mistake for a budgie swing, most people don't even notice them! If you like the hoops then wear them, you're not asking anyone else to!

Sleepers or huggies are nice .
(I cannot wear them at work though)

I have some smaller than the tip of my pinkie but I have small lobes .

I like the bigger hoops but not when they're on your shoulder ! Or ones that drag the ear-hole down.
