‘Online account’ has appeared on my shared bank account. I can’t find out who the merchant is from my bank. Has anyone had the same and do you know who it was?

Is there any reason why you can't just ask your partner what the charge is for?

I used to do this to my friend, She had to go to a meeting regarding her mortgage and produce bank statements that had frequent reference names of 'penis' 'sex' etc on it I felt so bad 😂

Ice creams were the first thing my kids had that were not home-cooked after lockdown 1. The tinkling joy of Greensleeves echoing around the estate was too good a temptation!

When I transfer to my best friend. (meals out, birthdays etc) I always put something inappropriate as the reference. "services rendered", "oral favours" etc. She reciprocates too.

I used to do that until my mate had to confirm some transactions as part of a security check. Massively embarrassed him.
