I hate it. But I’ve had a lot of surgery (non comestic) in this area so looking at non surgical options. Fat freezing ? Cool sculpt? Can I just stick my stomach in a bucket of ice every night - would that work?

Not sure but I'm planning a tummy tuck in a few years for mine. Think it's around the £2000 mark so will save that up

If it is skin, there is little you can do apart from cut it off.

I have one. I just tuck it into my big knickers.

After 5 c sections I'm not getting a tummy tuck either.
Mine is like a small bump now I am at a low BMI but it will never truly disappear

My friend just had a mini tuck and it was £4.5k

OP - I am looking into vaser lipo as I don't want any option involving general anaesthetic - got a consultation tomorrow so will post back!

Tummy tucks can be 2-3k in places like lithuania etc.
In the uk it varies from 6-9k

Nowhere in scotland does a full tummy tuck for 2k. I live here and had a tummy tuck 4 months ago. Lipo can be from 2k but tummy tucks are not. Mini tummy tucks at about 4k but not suitable for most people.

Arg better start saving now then! I lost loads of weight so it's the wrinkly skin I'm left with now whereas last year it was fat + skin and was far less wrinkled looking if that makes sense! Now it's like a deflated balloon.

I became very thin before my wedding and I still had the stomach pouch. So weight loss only helps to a degree.
I’m pale skinned so I just use fake tan on it it makes it look nicer

I'm still toying with this!

Was looking at tummy tuck with lipo £7-8k
But holding off as we're about to move into a new home

It depresses the shit out of me, I exercise 5x per week and eat really well mon-Thursday
It never shifts, in fact I feel like it's getting worse Sad

Come back and report on the vaser lipo please

I wouldn't do the fat freezing thing, potential outcome is the "stick of butter" effect, look it up and you'll be Shock.

Back from consultation and they have given 2 options for me:

To get to an ideal look naked, I would need vaser lipo and a full tummy tuck - likely cost approx £9k. I am really not keen on the whole general anaesthetic, massive cut, 4-6 weeks recovery though

They could remove around 4 inches of fat and I would have a huge improvement in looking better/thinner in clothes, but they were honest and said there would be loose skin left. For size of my paunch I need 3 areas, cost £5.1k

Need to have a big think!

Am probably going to post some pics from my phone - 1, in case it helps anyone in a similar state & 2, would really appreciate opinions!

Jack i would go for the full tummy tuck or you might not feel much better. The recovery isn't as bad as people think. I had a breast reduction and tummy tuck at the same time and flew home from lithuania on the 5th day after the op.

Am really not keen in my mind on a GA and full surgery - it feels out of my comfort zone to do for cosmetic reasons - but wondering if I should do the second best thing or just leave it!

Although I hate it!!

Also confirmed I have rectus diastasis so need exercises for the top part of my abdomen to change (& the crunches I have been doing actually make it worse) Sad

I don’t think it’s that bad.
I think you need to lose weight and tone up rather then a tummy tuck.

Can you hire a Personal trainer? Would be cheaper then a tummy tuck.

Jackstini it doesn't look like aprons as I know them. I knew a lady growing up (friends mum) who after 3 kids was size 8 but had just empty skin. If I were you I'd give it some time with diet and exercise and see what the outcome is as the skin might well be better than you thought?

Also if you could get a PT who specialises in diastasis recti your whole stomach should pull in.
