to consider living on ready meals from now on

I HATE cooking and hate food shopping as well- last night as I popped into M and S for a food hall browse I pondered the idea of living on their ready meals from now on- does anyone do this? Do you get sick of it? Is it really expensive?

I live alone so no one else to consider meal plan wise- are there other shortcuts that are as easy but maybe a little more healthy/ frugal?

I lived on ready meals for a few months when I was trying to lose weight and it was honestly the easiest and most effectively weight loss plan I've ever tried. Because all the calories are labelled I knew exactly how much I was having. In total I lost 12kg in three months. The trouble was by then I was absolutely sick of the damned things. I don't think many people could manage to live on them for a prolonged period, they're just not very nice.

Yanbu.
My mum does this now. Frankly a lifetime of cooking for others means she really relishes it! Her view is that for 1 you couldn't buy the ingredients much cheaper. Even at four quid a pop, that's 20 quid a week, she eats out or with us most weekends.
