Football VS Butlins

Am I being unreasonable...
Have a weekend booked in Butlins this weekend but SO says his not going to stay the Sunday to come home and go to the pub to watch the final... I don't want to come home to watch it at home alone (DD 4 and DS 6 months) - so not like I can easily join at the pub...

Yes with me! That's my main bug that I'll have to come home to watch it alone whilst his at the pub, rather than the time missed at Butlins.

We're going to butlins on Sunday as well! My OH has asked if there's a tv in the apartment, he doesn't drive and it's 3 hours away so he's got no choice he has to stay. I think your OH is unreasonable.

Surely you don't bow out of a family holiday to watch TV. If he must watch it there must be a TV there or phone/laptop? Or record it on sky or whatever? Do you get to abandon plans to watch your favourites on TV?

In most circumstances like if DP made a big deal about watching a quarter final match I would agree with you.

But to be honest England aren't in finals very often (or ever in most people on here's lifetimes), so I would let it go this once.

If England win it could well be the biggest night of partying and celebrations in living memory. I fully understand him wanting to be with friends for that. I haven't voted though in case the OP is also a massive fan and shouldn't be expected to be stuck watching it alone.

Totally depends how into it you both are.

Just him = he should go be with other fans (but no reason for you to go early too)

Both = make plans to watch it together.

I came back from butlins and watched wed night of footie thier it was amazing! Its shown in all the club/bars! Stay at butlins n enjoy together!!

Our locals were fully booked 2 weeks ago, I tried to book a few and they're all full!
