I've been amusing myself by coming up with things to go on my Fuckit List. It is a list of all the things I cannot be arsed to do before I die.

Don't want to climb a mountain
I don't fancy going to Goa
You can fuck skydiving
Skiing looks shit, you can keep that

What's the thing everyone else thinks you simply must do that you really cannot be arsed with?

YABU = shut up you miserable old bag, people can do these things if they want

YANBU = god no, I can't be arsed with all these "shoulds" either

I don't want to swim with dolphins

Any travelling of any kind, carrying all your stinking possessions around in a rucksack and sleeping in mystery accommodation, all for the sake of "the cultural experience".

Going to New York.

Zorbing.

Swimming with dolphins.

Climbing a mountain when there is a perfectly functional cable car which will give you the same view.

Go on a hot air balloon flight
Go on any kind of retreat

DH wants us to do the Inca Trail for his fiftieth year (in 2024). I told him that I will be taking the lovely train up and can meet him there, he has since exited the train looks nice and he would be concerned leaving me for a few days.

I put YANBU because you can choose for yourself what's on your list and what isn't.

Personally, I have no interest in:

• Running a marathon
• Walking the Camino
• Going to Las Vegas / Disneyland
• Skydiving (with you there OP, fuck that for a game of soldiers)

But I would really love to travel a bit more. My very best friend from uni passed away last week aged just 50 and she had an amazing life living in and visiting so many countries, yet she had so many more she still wanted to visit. Just scrolling through her FB page gives me the wanderlust.

New York, Vegas, Dubai, round the world
cruise....: just no.

Also: cooking class/experience, marathon, skydiving, bungee jumping, winter holiday with winter sports, seeing any sports event live.

Have sex
Get married
Have kids

Yoga, especially the retreat kind

Sky diving, anything involving heights

Not too keen on the idea of a cruise, anything with deep water

Visiting the Middle East

Running of any form

Learning any more languages, I've learnt enough!

Taking DC to Disneyland. NO I WON'T LOVE IT.

Run a marathon - the fact that you can be 26 miles away at the drop of a hat is not impressive. And no, I'm not going to sponsor you.
Go on a cruise - my husband keeps wanting to go on one and I'd honestly rather holiday in hell than spend time on a floating petri dish.

I don't think we have more spiders than the UK it's just that ours are either ginormous bastards or tiny deadly ones.

I'm never going to sky dive, bunjie jump, or do white water rafting.

I'm never going to race a racing car, helicopter over the Grand Canyon or have a tattoo.

I have no desire to go to Dubai, Las Vegas or the Caribbean.

I would like to climb mountains, learn to dive and sail across the atlantic. My knees are too fucked to run a marathon.
