For me it would be music apps and probably reminders, I tend to forget everything. I'm fine having no access to messengers for several days which was a surprise for me when I found out. What about you?

Twokitstwokats · 07/07/2021 06:42

I'd rather live without any and just use websites when I wish.

Frownette · 07/07/2021 06:46

Banking app, prime video, uni. Think that's it.

DinosaurDiana · 07/07/2021 06:48

I also just access websites when I need them.

Cazzovuoi · 07/07/2021 06:51

vjg13 · 07/07/2021 08:26

At the moment Prime video and the Virgin Media telly control one so that I can watch stored tv on my iPad. It does vary though, I do like a good weather one and banking apps.

vjg13 · 07/07/2021 08:27

Can anyone recommend free guided meditation or relaxation apps please.

Bumblenums1234 · 07/07/2021 08:55

My notes app Blush everytime I see a film/TV show I want to watch or a new place to visit or resturant to try, I put it in one if my notes lists.

MrsToothyBitch · 07/07/2021 10:00

TikTok- love it. OK I'm addicted.

lljkk · 07/07/2021 10:36

Spotify -- or some kind of ad-free music streaming

bank -- not like they send statements any more

train timetable (in normal life)

weather apps -- I'm outside a lot, they all disagree!! Good to get a range of opinions what they say

Gym -- only way to book a session

Keep --we track all sorts on Google keep, shopping, security codes, adult DC addresses, my NI number...

telecon software like TEAMS -- my ipod is my only camera enabled device at moment

Social media -- I use it for work

ebay - easiest to add pictures to listings from app , I sell stuff for charity

email, quickly see urgent messages

WhatsApp, messenger -- also for messaging

Podcast app -- help me fall asleep

ErrolTheDragon · 07/07/2021 10:42

WhatsApp seems to have become an essential. gmail. I use the MN app on my pad but i used the browser for years before that so it's not actually an essential.

Google maps, met office weather. Apple fitness/activity/health apps which go with the watch.

Banking and Times apps, though if they didn't exist I'd use the website.

DH makes a lot of use of MemoryMap when we're walking.

Stripey3000 · 07/07/2021 10:51

I couldn't do without Audible for books and podcasts.

Also love MapMyRun as I'm trying to achieve 5k

MistyGreenAndBlue · 07/07/2021 11:44

WhatsApp and banking.
I use other apps but they aren't essential in that websites are available as an alternative.
I suppose that's also true of banking but the app is easier.
I hate filling up my phone memory with apps when most sites are easy to access through Google. I have dozens of tabs open for this very reason.

MistyGreenAndBlue · 07/07/2021 11:45

I guess that makes Google my most essential app lol

MistyGreenAndBlue · 07/07/2021 11:48

Oh and my camera. I take millions of pics of my cat Grin

spinningspaniels · 07/07/2021 11:48

Google converting inches into centimetres because DH and I work together and even though he knows perfectly well that we order everything in by CMs, he still measures in inches.

Drives me round the bend but this saves me sitting with an open tape measure!

FearlessSwiftie · 07/07/2021 12:56

Banking apps, calorie tracker, Spotify and Google Camera app. I also need PicsArt quite often to do quick edits and I always use Photodiva and Photoworks on my laptop, so guess this counts, too.

Pixiedown123 · 07/07/2021 12:59
