Reporting for duty.

Going to break tonight and rain for 3 days allegedly. Hope so. 3 year old woke up NINE times last night because of the heat.

The only thing I like about it being this hot is how quickly the washing dries.

Washing was dry in hours today! It's the only good thing about it! 😂

I look forward to the rain.

The rain has started here in London. Hopefully I'll be able to sleep tonight without waking up a sweaty mess at 3am.

Not really a hater, but even I am enjoying the fact that it's pissing down with rain here (Sussex) and I can hear what sounds like the occasional rumble of thunder in the distance.

I've got lots of windows open and a cool fresh breeze wafting through the house and it's so refreshing.

I'm here! I'd do a rain dance if I knew how (and had the energy, which I don't because it's too damn hot)

It’s not so much the weather as my fucking neighbours sitting outside my bedroom window all night playing music loudly, smoking weed and shouting. I ended up crying on the phone to my landlord because i get no peace, all day with a toddler, my only quiet time now robbed, I hate it. Landlord won’t do anything about it and I can’t afford to move so a summer of my sanity being destroyed it shall be..

Working in a mask and pinny when you’re having hot flushes is no joke 😩

I like nice sunny days, but this heat is oppressive.

Hate the summer, would happily live somewhere dark and cold. The rain makes me so happy

Why can’t we just have reasonable, warm weather. That cools down properly at night. I actually dread bedtime. Especially as DH doesn’t like traffic noise from open window, or daylight at 3am because I need curtains open 🙈🙈🙈🙈🤦‍♀️

Windows open here is a mare.
Foxes kicking off, traffic noise, the dawn chorus.
Nobody sleeps when it's too hot here

Thought it was just me and being old. Can’t stand it. Don’t want to sit outside. Don’t want to go anywhere. Just want to flop.
