To be upset with DH cooking with slimy mushrooms?

He made omlettes for dinner tonight. After eating he told me the mushrooms were slightly slimy but not much and probably OK. AIBU to be annoyed at this? He knows I have a fear of food poisoning too.

But you had them yesterday and presumably you haven't been sick. Does that tell you something?

Yes I think I was silly over the mushrooms. I know IABU when it comes to food. I still think my DH is an arse. He seems to enjoy (?) putting me on edge about all the silly things I'm anxious about. Mushrooms a small example. But also when I was worried about having the vaccine he decided to tell me that I could be the 1 in 250000 who got a blood clot etc. But I know I must be an absolute pain to live with. So maybe I am just flat out unreasonable.

Were they chestnut mushrooms? The BB date on them is meaningless and I've kept them a month after it. They just last so well.
