Blackhead on my boob

Least that is what I think (hope) it is...

It’s just outside my areola, a teeny tiny black round spot, it’s seriously small, like blackhead size.
It looks exactly like a blackhead.
It can’t be scratched off and I’ve had it at least a week.

I’m getting a bit worried.

Should I go to the doctor?
Or would that be silly?

Is it a blackhead? It's still skin so spots are normal as far as I'm aware? Is there a lump or dimpling or any pain?

I dont think this is a GP issue on it's own personally.

I have no idea!
I have actually never had a blackhead before!
No lump or dimpling and no pain.

I have tried to squeeze it but nothing happens

It's probably nothing.
But any breast change you should ring 111 at the very least. Try and get an appointment to get someone to look at it asap.

My breasts increased in size when i was pregnant and i have had loads of blackheads as the pores are so stretched.
Try using an exfoliating cloth and it may well be resolved

I think you can get little oil glands around there. Not 100% sure.

If in doubt see a gp for a check.

I had one on my nipple. When I realised I thought my nipple had died, it was that black.

But, it was a blackhead.

Anything to do with changes to skin or breasts needs to be checked out though. And randoms on the Internet telling you about their blackheads doesn't negate that.

Any doctor would be thrilled to tell you it's not sinister and it's just a black head. So get yourself to a doctor.

It was through pure, coincidental serendipity that, some months ago, there was a thread on MN about something called a "Dilated Pore of Winer", (no, me neither......)
I realised this completely matched what I had on my back.
Not saying this is what you have, but look it up.

'dilated pore of Winer is a noncancerous tumor of a hair follicle or sweat gland in the skin. The pore looks very much like a large blackhead but is a different kind of skin lesion.'

DPOW would be significantly larger I would think. Can you post a pic - us sporners can identify blackheads blindfolded.
