Pet Hate - what makes you Cringe?

For me it is the habit of drinking out of bottles. Everywhere you go people are swigging out of bottles. Had a bank appointment and even Manager was drinking out of a bottle. Agh I must be getting old. Give me a glass any time.

Sliders. I can’t explain it, but they infuriate me.

Wonky Ugg type boots, particularly when worn with lounge pants on the school run.

People saying 'bubba' for baby 😒 Hideous.

I really don't like dandelions. Unfortunately my garden has seen an explosion of them in the last few days.

People saying ‘baby’ instead of ‘the baby’. Urgh.

People who say, "myself and ...". You know what I mean.

People asking after my ‘fur babies’ They are fully grown adult dogs fgs. They weigh 30 Kgs each.

On here, I hate 'are you on glue?' 'educate yourself!' And 'you sound unhinged' (Saying that is vile, as it implies the poster is mentally unwell. Nasty.)

There are LOADS more things people say that nark me off. I will probably think of some more later. Or people will mention them here probably.

I cringe when my colleague pops a boiled sweet into her mouth seconds before giving me the lowdown on what needs doing. I then have to listen to it being thrown around her gob, colliding with her teeth. The other day I could stand it no longer and said, ' Are you eating a sweet?'
'Yes. Do you want one?'
I wish I could be more direct.

People who use their vocal cords when sneezing. There is no need. Bonus points for actually say achoo.

Also people that pick their teeth, nose or any part of themselves in public. People who break wind publicly and loudly. Anything crass really.

Grammar wankers. No one cares outside of formal communication. Just says more about the grammar wanker than the person making the error, so it just make me feel embarrassed for them.

What is it about slow walkers that make you cringe? I feel cringe means a certain level of embarrassment? I don't agree but understand the shopping in pj's. But I don't get the slow walking thing?

Pet hates and things that make you cringe are very different things aren’t they?
