What a stupid question, colleges are for all ages.

Nope.

Nope, all sorts of reasons people would be at college at any age.

Not at all. I went back to college when I was 29

A 21/22 year old - no, not unusual. Plenty of people need to resit GCSEs and then if you need to sit A Levels too you could easily get to 21.

What are your concerns? Do you know someone this age contemplating going back to college, or do you think they have a nefarious reason for going back?

No. I’m 29, work full time and attend college part time.

No. I’d presume they’d worked for a bit and then decided to get some more qualifications.

Not at all, in fact I would be thinking good for them

No, I'd assume they'd decided to retrain, not unusual at all.

My employer pays for staff to study for professional qualifications, that includes people of all ages. No one finds this odd, it's a perfectly normal thing to do.

No. I went i my 30s and there were enough people my age for me to not feel out of place. Why on earth should education be restricted to a certain age group?

I went to university full-time when I was 33.

DD is 21 & in full time education at college & still has another year to go - she has men & women of all ages on her course.

I went to uni when I was 35 & I wasn't even the oldest on my course.

21/22 isn't a strange age to be at college at all.

Certainly not. What on earth is unusual about training and/or education?

Not at all. I've met people doing education and trading at all ages.

In the last few years I’ve taught ages 16-61 in FE, the majority in their 20s and 30s.

No. My mum went to college to do an Access course (don't think they exist any more, but a way of getting nature students into Higher Education) at 37. She graduated from uni at 41.
