I have had enough of this utter tosh, have you?

OP posts:
OhWhyNot · 13/05/2021 18:49

Yes

Geamhradh · 13/05/2021 18:50

Yes

MoorGirl · 13/05/2021 18:51

YES

TheCountessofFitzdotterel · 13/05/2021 18:51

Yes I’m particularly fed up of privileged tossers using it to bully working people.

Zilla1 · 13/05/2021 18:51

I suspect many MN posters agree with you about the Daily Mail being utter tosh.

Febo24 · 13/05/2021 18:52

You lost me at the Daily Mail.

SchrodingersImmigrant · 13/05/2021 18:53

People need to stop pretending no one here reads Daily Mail since every second article shared in is from there🙄🙄

Yanbu

AmyLou100 · 13/05/2021 18:55

Yanbu I've seen this on another site as well. Absolute rubbish. This nonsense is just out of control now.

StillWeRise · 13/05/2021 18:56

totally
minipie · 13/05/2021 18:56

The Daily Mail’s done a few of these stories recently haven’t they? Not overtly expressing a view, but picking out examples that highlight how weird it’s all got? Subtly bringing this to the attention of people (ie DM readers) who don’t move in woke or feminist circles and might otherwise might have no clue this is going on.

Never thought I’d be glad of anything the DM wrote, but...

FrankButchersDickieBow · 13/05/2021 19:02

Well seeming Laurence sees fit to use the expression himself, I'd say there is some kind of agenda going on here.

LucilleTheVampireBat · 13/05/2021 19:02

Utterly ridiculous. I sound like my mother but the world has gone mad.

HeckyPeck · 13/05/2021 19:05

YABU for giving the Daily Mail extra views.

I haven't read the article because I think DM is misogynistic and loves to fuel hate.

Quite.

I'm not entirely convinced it comes from a good place though. The DM probably would like to keep women where they like them to be, up the sidebar of shame, preferably with their tits out as click bait.

PeanutButterCheesecake · 13/05/2021 19:07

Laurence sounds like a snowflakey little twat.

ProfessorInkling · 13/05/2021 19:09

What a narcissist.

FrankButchersDickieBow · 13/05/2021 19:11

To be fair, this is a thread off twitter. The daily mail have just picked up on it.

CecilyP · 13/05/2021 19:14

The correct response should have been, “well he obviously wasn’t talking to you then, Laurence!’.

HepLaurenceLB · 13/05/2021 19:15

I am so disappointed when these companies bow down to bullying from ridiculous little narcissists.

blobblob · 13/05/2021 19:16

YES had enough. Sick of it.

AmandaHoldensLips · 13/05/2021 19:17

This person had better not ever go to a Christmas pantomime where a bloke (probably Biggins) dressed up as a woman shouts "hello boys and girls". He'd probably explode.

ArrrMeHearties · 13/05/2021 19:17

The world has went officially batshit crazy I've had enough

Unsubscribed · 13/05/2021 19:18

YES had enough. Sick of it

Me too

This, in spades.
OhWhyNot · 13/05/2021 19:28

Like the Daily Mail or not

It’s far more influential than The Guardian or The Times

I’m hoping they start reporting more on the nonsense of women having a penis and trans women are women

Then we may actually halt the changes being made Twitter isn’t making any difference
