To ask for help naming my son

It's seemingly impossible. Posting for traffic.

The names I like, Henry, Alfred, Arthur, Frederick/Fred/Freddie are all extremely common around where we are and I don't want him to be one of 11 children in the class called Henry. I love the name Rupert but DH really doesn't so that's out.

For girls we loved Daphne, Florence, Matilda, Rose, Henrietta. There were lots more. I don't know why we are struggling so much with a name for a boy! We have a girl and are delighted to have a boy too.

Suggestions please!!

Emmerich nn Emery or Emory kinda has the same feel of Henry and Frederick to me. Also Henric could give more options with Henry maybe.

Others: Cyrus, Aldus, Brennus...I've fallen into a pattern, um Dorian.

Thank you everyone! These are all really helpful. A few I hadn't thought of too. Will have to go through and make a shortlist to tentatively present to DH who I fear has reached the point of just naming him "child 2"

You seem to like 'old fashioned' names but don't want to go too popular so based on that..
Richard
Anthony
Thomas
All perfectly easy to spell, well known, easy to nickname.
