I mean, it's not been the most exciting but I do want to see it through. However, will it be ruined by Noel Clark now after all the accusations? Maybe itv will end up not showing it anyway.

Possibly @LisaLx, I think she maybe the big guns and I think the lady with the dog knows what's going on and is an innocent pawn in it all
I'd just add I'm rubbish at these things though

Blacktothepink · 30/04/2021 15:52

It’s been cancelled I’m affraid

Pinkyavocado · 30/04/2021 15:53

Yes, there are lots of other actors in it. I thibkmKate done it, she seems like a snake .

DDiva · 30/04/2021 16:01

They are no longer showing this tonight although it is apparently available on ITV hub. So in fact all they are doing is unfairly disadvantaging those who don't have the internet. Who cares about the elderly and those on the lowest incomes........

Samcro · 30/04/2021 16:03

ffs, really
I thought it was innocent until proved guilty!!

JeanClaudeVanDammit · 30/04/2021 16:04

I’ve found it a bit dull but would have watched the final episode to see it through. I feel for the other actors in it though, especially the women, having their work tainted by him.

Joeblack066 · 30/04/2021 16:16

I don’t know if he’s guilty or not but British Law says he is until PROVEN guilty.
Trial by media again.

Samcro · 30/04/2021 16:20

At least I have the hub.

GillBungalow · 30/04/2021 17:05

He isn't being prosecuted so the burden of proof law doesn't apply.

If NC feels he is being defamed he is of course at liberty to sue.

FoxyTheFox · 30/04/2021 17:28

Correlating reports by 20 different women, including texts and photos, spanning a period of years is making the likelihood of innocence look incredibly small. He has brought himself into disrepute and any employer/business would look to distance themselves from an employee/contractor at the centre of such allegations.

Sometimeswinning · 30/04/2021 17:41

@foxythefox this is my thinking. I've loved him over the years but I cant ignore the amount of evidence. Also reading some of his comments on social media I'm suprised something hasn't been said before.

Carolduckingbaskin · 30/04/2021 17:45

I feel for the other actors here. Why pull the show ok the last episode.

I read the guardian piece with absolute horror this morning.

FoxyTheFox · 30/04/2021 17:50

Of the cast members who have tweeted/posted on SM about it, they're in support of it being cancelled.

Maggiesfarm · 30/04/2021 17:52

I might watch it. I haven't seen last night's yet, fell asleep on the sofa.

Noel Clarke has not been found guilty of anything so far. There's no reason not to watch a programme featuring him yet. Let's wait and see how this business pans out before making a judgement on him.

FoxyTheFox · 30/04/2021 17:59

Let's also remember that the conviction rate on rape and sexual assault is roughly 1-2%, that false allegations are so rare that you're statistically more likely to be raped/assaulted than you are to be falsely accused of such, and that the entertainment industry has a long history of providing cover for predators of all types.

Alsohuman · 30/04/2021 18:02

It’s available on the ITV hub. It’s completely bonkers to cancel the last part of a series 3.5 million people have been watching all week.
Blondeshavemorefun · 30/04/2021 18:06

Yes I want to see the ending. Watched it for 4hrs

OnlyInYourDreams · 30/04/2021 18:07

Of the cast members who have tweeted/posted on SM about it, they're in support of it being cancelled. I suspect that many of them wouldn’t dare not to be because of the backlash they would probably face…

Maggiesfarm · 30/04/2021 18:08

Well tonight's episode had been pulled by ITV.

Maggiesfarm · 30/04/2021 18:08

They could have said, "No comment".
AgeLikeWine · 30/04/2021 18:11

I had never heard of Noel Clarke before today, so I come at this case without preconceptions.

It’s very concerning that he appears to have been tried & convicted by media & social media in a few hours. If he has committed serious offences, he must face the consequences of his actions, but whatever he is alleged to have done, he deserves due process and is entitled to the presumption of innocence.

We are getting into very, very dangerous territory when a person’s life and career can be summarily destroyed by allegations which are yet to be substantiated.

NameChangedForThisFeb21 · 30/04/2021 18:12

I know some of the female cast. Strong, talented, brilliant women. I’m really angry that because of what one man has (allegedly as we legally have to say) done, we are being deprived of seeing their work. They aren’t massively “known” and could have done with the positive exposure which might have led to more work. I can imagine they are gutted for the victims but also personally disappointed. Obviously, they won’t be allowed to express the latter. I’m sad for them.

cariadlet · 30/04/2021 18:20

I've recorded it and was going to binge watch it at the weekend. I've read the report on the Guardian and won't be watching now. I would feel uncomfortable, knowing what I know now.

I know that legally you are innocent until proven guilty but 20 women making very similar accusations is enough proof for me. It sounds as though more women could be coming forward; his predatory and bullying behaviour seems to be an open secret.

He's bloody gone and ruined the old Billie Piper Dr Who episodes as well. Bastard!

Yesmate · 30/04/2021 18:23

I will watch it because I’ve watched it all week. It’s been a bit shit though but it’s like a rubbish film or book, have to see it through.

Aworldofmyown · 30/04/2021 18:28

I will watch it. Imagine putting all that work into a show and then it gets taken off air because of one knob. I don't agree with punishing everyone else whilst he's investigated.
