I think you should send that to your doctor and ask them love

goodbyeyellowbrick · 14/04/2021 00:10

@OppsUpsSide don't be rude I'm worried sick, just noticed it tonight and obviously the doctors isn't open at this time love.

Could it be a tick?

@OppsUpsSide
wasn’t being rude, you need to ask your doctor.

TechGinny · 14/04/2021 00:15

It does look worrying and you should definitely send it to your dr tomorrow.

goodbyeyellowbrick · 14/04/2021 00:15

@PulledPineapple oh I never thought of that. It might be! I never felt anything though and just noticed it tonight when I was stretching my leg, it is a bit red around it.

OP posts:
VodselForDinner · 14/04/2021 00:15

It looks like an infected flea bite.

goodbyeyellowbrick · 14/04/2021 00:18

@VodselForDinner it's not itchy or anything or sore. Literally stings a little when I touch it otherwise wouldn't know it's there.

OppsUpsSide wasn’t being rude. Without wishing to panic you, your mole shares several characteristics with melanoma, so should be checked by a GP right away. It’s very likely nothing serious, but it could be.

JaneJeffer · 14/04/2021 00:21

Looks like a cigarette burn that has scabbed over.

goodbyeyellowbrick · 14/04/2021 00:22

@OppsUpsSide okay apologies, I thought you were being sarcastic as you added 'love' at the end. When you see that on mumsnet it's not usually meant in a nice tone.

OP posts:
goodbyeyellowbrick · 14/04/2021 00:22

@JaneJeffer I thought it was a scab at first but isn't

OP posts:
Chickmad · 14/04/2021 00:23

A bite that has scabbed over?

@OppsUpsSide
wasn’t being rude. None of us can diagnose you over the internet and what you’ll get is either a load of untrained people making you more worried or less worried. See your GP.

goodbyeyellowbrick · 14/04/2021 00:23

Not sure if can see better here

OP posts:
goodbyeyellowbrick · 14/04/2021 00:24

@user1473878824 I will book appointment in morning but I just wondered if anyone had any idea

OP posts:
JaneJeffer · 14/04/2021 00:25

I'd definitely make a GP appointment for that. Better safe than sorry!

OppsUpsSide · 14/04/2021 00:29

Ah sorry @goodbyeyellowbrick it’s just how I speak. I really think you should contact your Dr, they should be able to at least do a video appointment and assess if they need to see you.
It’s probably nothing but always best to be sure.

goodbyeyellowbrick · 14/04/2021 00:49

I will do ☹️

OP posts:
Mustgoon · 14/04/2021 00:51

Could be something scanned over?
Or an ingrown hair?
Does it feel like a scab that could be picked off?

AlwaysLatte · 14/04/2021 00:52

Now is a good time to contact the GP, I contacted them about a mole on my Dad's head and because they're outsourcing things at the moment some things are happening pretty quickly because you're getting private-level attention. He got referred within a few days and has an appointment next week. Yours looks more of an irritation type issue but obviously a specialist can tell you for sure so I'd phone to be on the safe side.

Badgerstmary · 14/04/2021 00:53

Hope you’re ok op. My guess would be a tick, but definitely send the photo to your dr.

goodbyeyellowbrick · 14/04/2021 00:56

@Mustgoon it's hard to explain. Okay so it feels like I've been bitten but only when I touch it. I can feel it as if it's a scab, it's not under the skin but it's not a scab as have had a good look at it etc and rubbed it and it's not a scab.

Not sure if anyone noticed but on second picture I seem to have a bite near it so I wonder if two are connected. God I hope so, I'm sitting here can't sleep freaked out it's melanoma. Always jump to the extreme but can't help it.

OP posts:
goodbyeyellowbrick · 14/04/2021 00:56

Yeah I will be on the phone first thing tomorrow morning.

OP posts:
goodbyeyellowbrick · 14/04/2021 00:57

@AlwaysLatte I hope your dad is okay
