Tastes like jizz to me

Or a toddler with a bad cold

I mean I agree with the haters

Why would disliking a food make you unreasonable? There are many foods that I don’t like but in no way do I think it’s unreasonable.

Me too

@toastofthetown Just asking for fun!
It baffles me that it is so popular.

I have my own lighthearted conspiracy theory that chocolate quality has dropped so much, adding extra sugar and salt is a way of disguising the taste!! (Still icky tho Wink )

Agreed. It's a waste of caramel

This.

AIBU to not like this TV show?
AIBU to love this song?

Of course not!

I also find it odd that we are encouraged to eat less salt , yet this is ok .
I know we all have to set our own limits on what we eat / drink but can you imagine how well a drink would go down if it specifically sold its self on the extra sugar it had in it

I didn't think it would work but it does, I love it.

LizBennet · 30/03/2021 12:18

I wouldn’t like it for breakfast, lunch and dinner, but I don’t mind it too much.

I've found my people. Salted caramel is awful, but DS aged 9 loves it, where did I go wrong?Confused

I mean, not liking a food is hardly controversial, is it?

I'm indifferent to Marmite. Deal with that one....

NotATomato · 30/03/2021 12:22

YANBU I hate it too.

I hate that you cannot get normal caramel anymore, it always has to be salted. I love caramel, I hate anything sweet and savoury together so salted caramel is just an abomination.

It’s a fad that needs to end.

I agree with the fact you can't find as much 'normal' caramel anymore though. However, I used to eat Dairy Milk chocolate with a packet of ready salted crisps as a child, so hope Salted Caramel doesn't completely disappear otherwise I'll have to go back to my odd combos again .

It does seem to be everywhere. I remember a few years ago everything savoury you ordered had raw red onion on it. Glad that's died down a bit

YANBU to dislike salted caramel
YABU to think anyone cares or that it should not be a flavour of things

I hate mint flavoured things - mint choc, mint ice cream etc. I just choose a different flavour and get on with my life.

I only like my homemade salted caramel. Shop bought tastes like chemicals and regret.

takingmytimeonmyride · 30/03/2021 12:41

YANBU.

Salt belongs on chips. Not on caramel. I hope this fad is over soon so I can enjoy normal caramel, which I love.

Though I guess it's good for my weight loss if it sticks around. Grin

@TulipFields Oh I remember that too!! Onion was everywhere. I think avocado then took over?

Haha Brie, maybe my post should have been aibu to ask if iabu? Grin
