No I’m pro vaccine and will get all the vaccines offered to me but forcing anyone is a slippery slope.

SleepingStandingUp · 30/03/2021 11:01

No,you're wrong.

SleepingStandingUp · 30/03/2021 11:02

@deputydog72

Dead simple: once everyone is vaccinated, those who choose not to take it should have their access to the free NHS curtailed.
So if you don't get the jab you can't get cancer treatment or have a brown leg fixed? But the chronic life long smoker with lung cancer or the group of drunk Stags who went snowboarding, they can?
Doggitydog · 30/03/2021 11:02

Oh I agree OP, bring it on WineGinGrin 🌞 🏖

Shitfuckcommaetc · 30/03/2021 11:02

YABU

do you want to drag people out of their houses, pin them down and forcebly inject them?

FluffMagnet · 30/03/2021 11:03

Forced medical procedures? Fucking hell ... yeah that's not a slippery slope.

WeMarchOn · 30/03/2021 11:03

I don't think anyone should be forced, I think bodily autonomy and medical consent are important. However, I do think it's ok to require the vaccine for certain jobs and situations where the pros out way the cons. I'm not certain where I stand on religious exemption, I'm not religious so can't understand not taking something that could save my life and others because of a strong religious belief.

There will of course be certain people who can't have the vaccine for medical reasons and I doubt you're talking about them.

Autumn101 · 30/03/2021 11:04

😂😂 absolutely agree!

nursejekyll · 30/03/2021 11:05

Silly argument.
What else are you going to force people to do - eat healthily, stop smoking, exercise more?

FloraFauna27 · 30/03/2021 11:05

My DM had her vaccination last week. 12 hours later she had a heart attack. The doctors told her they can’t say for certain it isn’t linked. I will still get mine but I don’t think she will go for her second and who could blame her? You can’t force people to vaccinate.

FloraFauna27 · 30/03/2021 11:05

Ha I’ve just read it again. In my defence...it’s been a long week!!

Notable · 30/03/2021 11:05

Reading comprehension, people.

SnarkyBag · 30/03/2021 11:06

Oh gif it’s bad enough seeing these twatty posts on Facebook local pages or on the timeline of that muppet family member you keep meaning to unfollow.
At least take the time to write an actual post explaining your views might encourage some intelligent debate at least 🙄

Takemetothebar · 30/03/2021 11:07

Damn straight!

And maybe mandatory reading comprehension tests?

Crappyfridays7 · 30/03/2021 11:07

Just shows people don’t read things properly

I for one agree!!

nursejekyll · 30/03/2021 11:08

Haha 😆

Aroundtheworldin80moves · 30/03/2021 11:08

Does it include children? I'm not sure about forcing mine... GrinGrinGrin

WeMarchOn · 30/03/2021 11:08

@Takemetothebar true story 😂

Takemetothebar · 30/03/2021 11:08

@SnarkyBag and you might at least take the time to read the post...

miltonj · 30/03/2021 11:08

As long as they don't force me to go to skeggy then I'm on board 🥳
