Bloom and Wild voucher

MrsTerryPratchett · 25/03/2021 19:24

I got some flowers for my mum, no issues at all. They've just credited my account as lots of people did have issues with the delivery on that date. Great customer service.

Two questions. Has anyone else got this?

And would I be unreasonable to get my mum more flowers even though there were no issues? I would use B&W again based on this so they would gain. But it feels dishonest. But... free flowers for my mum.

Just take it. Don’t fret about it.

Riv · 25/03/2021 19:31

I didn’t get a voucher, but I have used bloom and wild quite often. I’ve always had good service from them. They are also quick to solve problems. I got a full replacement and extra chocolates for my friend and myself once when a delivery wasn’t quite right.
I’d go ahead and use the voucher. I suspect the cost to them will be more than covered by your future loyalty as their customer.

Snooks1971 · 25/03/2021 19:31

I can’t answer your first question sorry but yes I would definitely use the voucher. Free flowers for your Mum? Aww yes!

Slightly similarly, I received a small voucher from Asda because of issues that customers had had with their Valentine meal deal - we did have subs but no complaints here! And yes I used it.

MoonriseKingdom · 25/03/2021 19:40

I’m in the same position and I have used the voucher Blush
I will continue to use them as always has a good experience!

Brefugee · 25/03/2021 19:42

I'd use it. I think they provide a really good service, and i'm guessing you'll use them again.
I'm thinking of getting my mum the subscription

MrsTerryPratchett · 25/03/2021 19:42

So I can just say @MoonriseKingdom did it first! Works for me!

TBF I will use them again based on this so they'll make their money back I'm sure!

Go for it! Grin

Sparklesocks · 25/03/2021 19:45

Do it! Flowers

Griselda1 · 25/03/2021 19:49

I also received one but the flowers seemed fine judging by the pictures I received.

MrsTerryPratchett · 25/03/2021 19:50

Hooray. Easter flowers off to my mum.

I have made a mental promise I will send flowers for my dear mate's birthday so they will get more business.

I will have a very happy mum thanks to you vipers. She's had a really hard time recently so I'm happy.

No idea about vouchers but both my daughters got me B&W flowers for Mother's Day, and a fortnight on they are still looking wonderful.

Christmashope19 · 25/03/2021 19:54

I got a voucher also
Thought the photo I saw of the flowers that I had sent looked good
I have used the voucher to send myself some flowers 😂

Arrowheart · 25/03/2021 19:55

I had a really disappointing bunch from them, all the greenery was dry and brittle and droopy flowers. I sent photos and got a replacement bunch today but they are just as bad. If I saw them in a supermarket I wouldn't pick them up. They looked like the reduced end of day flowers. I was really disappointed. I've emailed them so waiting to see what they say. I'd be really upset if I'd have sent them to someone.

Haha I'm a saint in comparison! 😇

Enjoy the flowers!

That's a shame. Thanks

I've just received flowers from them for my birthday and they are beautiful. Will be using them in future.

Mummylin · 25/03/2021 20:03

Arrowheart you will probably find that in 24 hrs the flowers have come back to life. I have had them often and they do look really sad, but in a couple of days they look completely different.

Hall84 · 25/03/2021 20:04

I've been sent the voucher too but I do use them a lot. By all accounts the flowers were lovely so just double checking with the recipient before I send the replacement to myself . . .

MargaretThursday · 25/03/2021 20:07

I got the voucher too. I emailed back to say that the flowers were lovely, and I'd use the voucher for a friend who's had a hard time recently.
They replied to say they were pleased to hear the flowers were fine and enjoy using the voucher.
Was a really nice personal reply.

Well that's me completely justified then.

Thanks!

I've received flowers from B&W and, while they were beautiful, I did find it a faff to unwrap each flower individually, trim them etc. I miss the old way of getting a full bunch delivered, no extra work required. Although I'm guessing B&W is cheaper for the equivalent size?

Bingowingslikeashieldofsteel · 25/03/2021 20:12

I love Bloom and Wild, have a delivery I received on Saturday that is now all perky and lovely! It makes me feel a bit like a gardener when I put them in water looking a bit crap and two days later they look amazing Blush

Christmashope19 · 25/03/2021 20:38

Mrsterry no one every sends me flowers or very rarely so thought I deserved them lol

YouAreTheWordsIAmTheTune · 25/03/2021 20:43

I got a voucher too. My Mum did mention she didn't think they were up to the usual standard but I couldn't be arsed to complain. Nice wee surprise and I've just sent myself some flowers as it's been a shit week

MrsTerryPratchett · 25/03/2021 21:02

I'm loving all the MNers with surprise free flowers.

Well played B&W. it's quite cunning marketing .

much fizzy wine, chocolate and toiletries have been substandard recently if any organisations want to send some free crap my way. I promise to start threads about you all. Honest.
