On Disney+ if you haven't seen it. Aside from making you feel a bit inadequate as an entertaining parent what's not to love?

My daughter loves it. Tbh for the millionth viewing it's lost its charm....

LadyCounterblast · 11/03/2021 09:58

I clicked on this thread thinking you were talking about £5 notes. I'm from Lancashire, it's what we call them...

I'll go again now Blush

Artesia · 11/03/2021 10:21

I’m with you- think it’s brilliant. My favourites are the episode where the dad takes them swimming and the one where they are collecting a Chinese takeaway. If my kids want me to watch tv with them, I always insist on Bluey!

Cowgran · 11/03/2021 10:56

It's one of the few shows I will happily watch with my kids. My favourites are Dunny, Featherwand and Hide and Seek.

Laserbird16 · 11/03/2021 11:01

There's a Bluey album too! Personally I love Camping and Sleepy time, they make me tear up!

Youllbeoldertoo · 11/03/2021 11:02

We love it!!!!! I’ve watched I’m in Australia so I was so happy to see it in the uk.

BritInAus · 11/03/2021 11:04

It's brilliant. Such a step up from Peppa! Truly Australian and lots of jokes for the adults too.

Figmentofimagination · 11/03/2021 11:06

I agree. Would prefer to watch it over PJ masks any day (hate that song!!)
And also agree about the inadequacy.

MarkRuffaloCrumble · 11/03/2021 11:09

My DS is 16 and when he saw it he said “oh that looks so wholesome” and we all watched an episode Grin

Despite not being the target audience at all, we all thought it was totally charming!

NotyouGuillermo · 11/03/2021 11:09

Oh I love Bluey! I find it hilarious Blush my favourite episodes are Hotel and Camping.

Hobbesmanc · 11/03/2021 11:36

I had a very much loved Budgie called Bluey when I was a child. I was devastated when he flew to the great aviary in the sky. Reading the Post made me think of him

RuggerHug · 11/03/2021 11:40

Bluey is amazing!! Bumpy and the Wise old wolfhound episode though....shouldn't be getting emotional at preschoolers tv.

My kids love it!

Last one posted twice for some reason. All the bluey fans should check out the Gotta be done podcast. Deep dive of every episode in the way most crime dramas get and it's lovely :D

Me too! I loved Bluey.
TrialOfStyle · 11/03/2021 11:52

Oh, I love it. I really like that episode with the BBQ and Bingo is preparing salads and nobody acknowledges all the work she does. Genius!

Treaclepie19 · 11/03/2021 11:59

We love Bluey. I do find sometimes it's hard to live up to as a parent but then most kids shows are unrealistic for parents because it's what kids wish was real life I guess.

BloodyWasps · 11/03/2021 12:06

It's Australian. I hate Aussie shows.

TurquoiseDress · 11/03/2021 12:07

I've just discovered Bluey and I love it!Grin

Hfjshdhs · 11/03/2021 12:10

Have you also tried Puffin Rock? It’s on Netflix and it’s glorious. So relaxing.

steff13 · 11/03/2021 12:10

I love Muffin. "I am the flamingo queen!"

DarcyLewis · 11/03/2021 12:14

I love it, and it’s so good to see such a positive dad role model.

I’m so not that kind of parent though Grin hope it doesn’t leave my kids too disappointed!

yourfaceisaforeignfood · 11/03/2021 12:16

I adore it - I even cried in the episode where Bingo sleeps on her own (the one that uses Jupiter by Holst). It’s funny and clever and lovely without being cloying. I actually love watching it with my children - the pp who said it was charming is exactly right. The Grannies are bliss.

yourfaceisaforeignfood · 11/03/2021 12:20

@steff13 Muffin is easily my favourite too. Chiiiiiipies 😂
