On Disney+ if you haven't seen it. Aside from making you feel a bit inadequate as an entertaining parent what's not to love?

I like bluey too (as far as kids shows go!) The swimming pool episode made me smile and I watched an episode the other day where mum & dad were arguing while building a flat pack swing for the garden Grin and then they looked at the kids and said "we made them" which I always feel about my kids and made me emotional. Bingo really makes the DC laugh

Camomila · 11/03/2021 12:29

I love the flatpack episode, its my favourite Smile The pizza oven is also pretty good.

Bluey has really great parents, and after watching it DS1 always wants to build forts or do other role play games.

CCC11 · 11/03/2021 13:59

Baby Race is my favourite about Chilli comparing Bluey to the other babies. Really made me have a bit of a cry because as mothers we can't help but try and compare your kids or parenting to others.

SuperSharpShooter · 11/03/2021 15:52

We love Bluey - my kids are 10 and 13 and they both find it cute and funny and they like how the sibling relationship is played out. It’s our go to when we can’t agree on what to watch; two episodes of Bluey. Everyone enjoys it and we all do a pretty good version at the opening sequence dance 😂

Foldinthecheese · 11/03/2021 15:58

We love Bluey, and I have countless videos of the children dancing to the opening and shouting out the names, with our 2yo always a second or two behind. They definitely set a high standard for parental interaction, though!

delorisvancartier · 11/03/2021 16:00

'Grannies' is the best episode. I genuinely laugh at 😂😂😂

LolaNova · 11/03/2021 16:03

I love it! Probably more than DS 😬 (he’d rather watch bloody PJ Masks) It’s funny, wholesome, and beautifully animated!

sqirrelfriends · 11/03/2021 16:06

I love bluey! I don't know anyone IRL who's heard of it.

It's does make me feel a bit crap as a parent but equally has given me loads of ideas for games to play with DS. Mainly mummy robot.

I love the episode where they create a whole little economy in school. One of the kids builds a house, Indy lives there with her early baby, bluey has a chip shop with no fish and Indy works there to pay rent.

"Shop's closed Rita" has become a family catch phrase here!
Yennefer19 · 11/03/2021 16:08

Yes love Bluey. My DD prefers puppy dog pals and Pj masks but I also put on Bluey and my personal favourite Fancy Nancy Clancy “for a change”.

delorisvancartier · 11/03/2021 16:28

@Artesia our family saying is "just getting some baked beans love" 🤣🤣

SuperSharpShooter · 11/03/2021 17:03

“You’re on your own Big fella” from the hospital episode 😂

Whenever my kids want me to do something for them they could easily do themselves 😂

Figmentofimagination · 14/03/2021 21:27

Watched the camping episode earlier. It was so lovely!

StillMedusa · 14/03/2021 21:36

I absolutely love it..and I'm 53 Grin
I work in Special Ed and at the end of the day on Fridays we have it on for one episode for one of our severely autistic children at choosing time. It's funny, and kind and just great! And so Australian!!!!

ShortColdandGrey · 14/03/2021 21:40

This is my daughters favourite show and we love it too. The grannies episode is my favourite Grin

AndAllOurYesterdays · 14/03/2021 21:52

There is a great moment In one of the episodes when the kids pipe up 'let's play backpacking!' and the parents exchange an 'oh good lord no' look over their coffee. I know that look well!

crazybunchofdolls · 14/03/2021 22:00

It's the best! I'd happily watch it on my own.
Lots of good positive role models for the kids too. Mum & Dad sharing the parenting and no real gender stereotypes. Win!

teaandcustardcreamsx · 14/03/2021 22:03

Love Bluey too! Grin Fancy Nancy on the other hand Envy

Figmentofimagination · 19/03/2021 13:31
