I know this is a bit out there but ...

I had a bad fall seven weeks ago - hurt my back in 3 places on narrow steps - still in a lot of pain. Was with my adult son who phoned my DH and they managed to get me in the car. When I got home my pants and jeans were soaking wet - DH changed these for me - considerable pain. I asked him to take my bra off - 15 minutes later he was still struggling - I said if we were dating he would have had it off in 2 secs - he said is that still a thing? We have been married more than 30 years by the way but wouldn't consider us old fuddy duddies. It was pitiful to be honest - do young men not try and remove ladies bras any more?

My husband struggles with some Bras. Doesn’t help that I have big boobs so my bras are more like heavy duty scaffolding than dainty little things that can be unclipped in one snap lol I guess most men don’t deal with bras clips daily so wouldn’t be great at it

Have you been thinking about this for 7 weeks? Did I read that right? Some bras are easier than others. The other day it took me about 5 minutes to get my own bra off (it had been a while since I'd worn a bra in fairness....).

I'm not kidding it took ages and I couldn't do it myself - managed to down the sleeve releasing but my God earlier in our relationship he was a lot more adept at this!

No I haven't been thinking about this for 7 weeks - have worn a bra three times since then and have worked from home - was just an observation!

My OH is shite at bras and my ex of 11 years didn't even attempt it. Bet he was mortified it took him that long and he couldn't even do it in the end 🙈.

MrsSugar you have a point - when we met I had practically no boobs and one catch - now have three. Usually I would just take my own bra off - babies and menopause are not kind to boobs!

Ah...I recently discovered that the whole "snapped it one handed" bollox arises from front fastening bras, which I've been told are absolutely normal in the USA.

I have no idea how that plays out when you've got norks that require structural engineering to stop them disappearing around your ankles.

My DH hasn't snapped a bra for a long time, but I think even he'd manage it in less than 15 minutes.

Although, without the incentive of a wee bit of slap and tickle, he might not manage it at all.

Once he had undone it he couldn't believe I could remove it by pulling the straps down my sleeves - really!

When I help my wife she reminds me that on our second date I managed to remove all her clothes, bra included, with no problems. Now she needs help she asks why it takes me so long.
I suggested that I should practice with our young neighbour
I will get better.

DH is incredibly proud that he can do the one handed 'snap' thing to my bra (back fastening) not that it's a common occurrence in our house.

Oh god I read that completely wrong Blush. I thought that your adult son was helping you and wondered why you were so inappropriate with him. You did say 'out there' but perhaps not quite that much!

OMG this post has made me think of someone I had a thing with once, he amazed me when he could unhook my bra one handed in seconds by just squeazing it together! No other man including my DH has been able to do it. Even I can't!

Lol I reckon it’s a young mans game. Had a similar situation the other day where I asked dh to u do my bra and we joked that he could have done it much quicker ten years ago.

Last time I was dating was my early 40s (10 years ago). By this age, I didn’t really wait around for men to mess about. Far more likely to be straddling them in my underwear, and reaching behind to do it myself, all in control showy offy performance sexy like 😉

So I don’t know whether men were any good at it or not!

Was it some intricate design or something? Bras are fairly easy to remove, if you want to that is. It’s like he was purposely taking ages if it took him 15 minutes

I can snap a back fastening bra one handed (though it might take me a few tries these days). There's a knack to it, you have to grab either side of the seam bit, and squeeze (while sort of pushing the hook eye(s), under the hook).

I have a sports bras that DH struggles to undo.
Its Fort Knox for boobs apparently.

I did have to tell him that I buy Brooks sportsbras for their brilliant Fort Knox boob binding abilities.
