My baby slept through last night! 10:30pm til 7am!

I’m a new woman! I could run a marathon! I could finish a crossword! I am happy as a lamb in clover!

Tell me what’s brightening your day on this beautiful, cold morning!

AlohaMolly · 09/02/2021 07:30

Every time mine sleeps through I spend half the night waking up wondering what’s wrong because they haven’t woken up Grin

Greenevalley · 09/02/2021 07:31

That's great op. My two are adults but I still remember that feeling of joy and amazement when I had more than 4 hours sleep.

Today we are finally going to start ripping our main bathroom out.
I'm happy and also a bit worried because these things don't always go to plan!

PlinkPlink · 09/02/2021 07:32

YADNBU (sing away!)

And I would feel the same too if I were in your position!!

But I'm not, so for that very reason, simultaneous YABU 🤣🤣 my 3yo still doesn't sleep through the night... arrrrrgh

KatyClaire · 09/02/2021 07:32

@KatyClaire true! What are you going to do today with your new lease of life?!

Bumpsadaisie · 09/02/2021 07:36

Well done @KatyClaire 's Dbaby🤣

pastabest · 09/02/2021 07:36

When my children (2.5 and 4) came into our room at 6.30am as usual they didn't whinge/ fight with each other/ nut DH in the balls / elbow me in the boobs/ cry / fight some more and demand to go downstairs for 'cweeeeals' like they usually do.

They played, nicely with each other and their teddies and watched 'Blues Clues' whilst DH and I looked on in shock.

It's really got the day off to a good start for the first time in a long time.

Iamblossom · 09/02/2021 07:36

It literally makes you feel human again doesn't it.

Congrats.

KatyClaire · 09/02/2021 07:38

Options are slightly limited by deep snow, but will see if we can forge a path to our local pond to feed some chilly ducks then I will cook something indulgent 😁

Enjoy your day with a spring in your step Smile

Bookriddle · 09/02/2021 08:15

Its brightening my day, not so much my wifes, but she worked last night, they are short staffed(nurse) because of the weather, so she has to stay on for a few hours, so I have had to take the day off work, me and the little one are gonna go play in the snow

KatyClaire · 09/02/2021 08:18

@Bookriddle aww, have a lovely time! Hopefully your dwife can get away soon and join you Smile

Whoo hoo! Brilliant news!

ErrolTheDragon · 09/02/2021 08:28

YANBU!Grin my baby is all grown up now, but I remember....

Actually, I'm feeling somewhat similar because after a few weeks of barking in the night, our elderly dog has settled down to 'sleeping through' again.

Eeeeeeeeeeeek · 09/02/2021 08:34

How wonderful! I remember that utter joy more than the pain of giving birth.

brokengate · 09/02/2021 08:39

Wonderful!

How old, give me some hope, eight weeks here and nothing more than two hoursSad

Borogroves · 09/02/2021 08:42

My DD slept through the night for the first time on Christmas Day 15 years ago. To this day it remains the best present I've ever had! Enjoy your day OP!

FilthyforFirth · 09/02/2021 08:43

Jealous! Though I got 5 hours at 12 weeks last night so I guess I shouldnt complain...

Good for you. I hope to join you in full nights sleep euphoria soon!

namechanger247334 · 09/02/2021 08:44

I'm jealous!!

HollyGoLoudly1 · 09/02/2021 08:47

Congratulations, nothing better than a good sleep with a baby Smile
