Mumsnet scares me most of the time. If I post, I'm genuinely anxious about returning to the thread. Strangely, in real life, I'm assertive and confident. Nor do I know anyone with the type of (fairly extreme) attitudes I read on here.

So many troll hunters, or people with poor reading comprehension jumping down your throat for something you actually didn't say.

Most threads are fine but if one of your first replies falls into the above two categories, a lot of responses seem to follow suit.

Still, I absolutely love MN so it's worth sticking around anyway. Most people on here are great to talk to.
