To ask how much you pay for your cleaner

Can I ask how much you pay for your cleaner and how much work do they do and the size of the home.

£14.50 an hour for 2 hours a week. Deep cleans two bathrooms and one toilet downstairs then if there is any time left a quick wipe of the kitchen. Honestly she’s a bit slow but the standard is high so I don’t mind as it saves me doing it

£12 an hour. She is brilliant and lovely but does 5 hours and I can't afford to carry that on for a long time. She does a lot in that time though. I think I will ask her to do less and do it in three hours soon.

£40 for 3 hours every fortnight.

£16 an hr, minimum of 2 hrs.

£12.5 an hour for two hours every two weeks. 2 bed, 1 bath house.

@Mummadeeze what does your cleaner manage in that time? I’m considering one but would really prefer fortnightly rather than weekly.

£30 a fortnight for 3 hours. She does downstairs toilet, bathroom, kitchen/ diner, lounge, stairs and landing, and 2 bedrooms.

£15 an hour for 4 hours a week.

£15 per hour, comes once a fortnight.
Brings all her own cleaning products and equipment, this was important for me so I didn't need to think about having the right products in the house.
She does 2 bathrooms and downstairs toilet, mops floors and hoovers. Any time left she does a quick dust and general wipe round.

Bathroom cleaned
Kitchen and utility cleaned, floors mopped
3 bedrooms dusted and vacuumed
Wooden floors downstairs vacuumed and mopped
Cleans the windows inside if she has time left
Lounge and dining area dusted/wiped down,

Depending on the cleaner they send - you can tell Which ones have young kids - there is one that tidies and wipes down my 4 year olds play kitchen 🤣

Current cleaner charges £15 p/h and comes for 3 hours every other week.
Previous cleaner did 1.5 hrs a week and charged £12 an hour.
Both v good. Effectively part cleans my house as even 3 hours doesn't do it all.

6 hours a week and 2 hours ironing. She also cleans my office every week (2hours).

I think you need to share your location / ask for peoples location, because a cleaner in London wont be the same as a cleaner in a small town up north etc

£45 for 3 hours every week. 5 bedroom house (although not big!). She does the basics in every room, nothing is deep cleaned during the weekly cleans but twice a year when we are away on. 2 week holiday she does a deep clean for one of the weeks and a standard clean the other week.
Just keeps us on the straight and narrow and means we can do other cleaning jobs at the weekends if needed (I give the bathrooms and loos a quick clean around most days) but it takes the pressure off and we don’t spend our weekends doing cleaning.
She gets a good bonus at Christmas and on her birthday and she’s like one of the family now. She’s been with us for over 10 years I think, we’d be lost without her.

£12 per hour, 5 hours a week.
She does a full clean for 3 hours at the start of the week, then comes and does 2 hours doing bathrooms and the bedding just before the weekend. 3 bed detached, family of four. We're south east.

Location is Yorkshire and we have a pet

wannabewriter she does general cleaning in the bathroom, kitchen, sitting room, bedroom, hallway and study, hoovers and mops. Sometimes she does inside the oven but not a deep clean or cleans out the fridge.

£15ph once a week. Sometimes 2hrs, sometimes 5, depends what needs doing. She tidies, sorts & organises as well as a general downstairs (5 rooms) clean.

£10 an hour for 3 hours and she does a 4 bedroom house - hoovering, mopping, dusting and 3 bathroom/toilets. She is a stickler for right angles as well, I love her

£30 for three hours weekly but really she’s done in 2.5 and goes then.
