Ok, could you help me settle a discussion with some friends?

Have a look at your left hand: which is longer - your ring finger, or your index finger?

Apparently a longer ring finger suggests higher exposure to testosterone in the womb, and there are various personality traits that go with this, including (apparently) predisposition to polyamory, being good at Maths, and being more likely to be gay or bisexual.

I’ll go: slightly longer ring finger, not interested in polyamory, crap at Maths, bi. Anyone else?

Longer index finger

Longer ring finger, not interested in polyamory, very bad at maths, very straight.

Identical, ring finger might edge it but only by a mm or two, max.

Mine are the same. I am good at maths.

I'm crap at maths, far better in English and practical subjects. And I'm fairly sure I'm not gay.

Longer ring finger on both hands. I’m not bad at maths, but none of the other things apply.

My ring finger is much shorter, to the extent that someone actually noticed and commented on it (a good while back).

In relation to the traits above:

• I guess you could say that I'm polyamorous. I'm just a bit of a commitment phobe really

• I'm very good at Maths

• I'm completely straight - but people often assume that I'm a lesbian

Having a longer ring finger also means you are more likely to be good at sport. The Communist bloc tried using it as a screening tool for finding good athletes. I am not good at sport.

My ring finger is quite a bit longer than my index finger (a nail length). I'm good at Maths, other traits don't apply.
