I think her tongue been at worse places... I would dish it up. Say nothing though! 😉

Ilovebolly · 30/12/2020 19:36

Absolutely not! Cats lick their own bum to get clean so their mouths are full of all sorts of germs.

Ponoka7 · 30/12/2020 19:36

Yep. I'd just scoop out where the cat had been and check for hairs.

randomchap · 30/12/2020 19:36

Nope, sorry. I wouldn't.

We've had cats tasting dinner too, have never dished it up.

cachedelete · 30/12/2020 19:36

I'd cook it off a bit more and serve 😊

raspberryk · 30/12/2020 19:39

Yeah I’d heat and eat, you’ve probably all ingested worse, especially since your cat must have been on the worktop in the first place to get the food.

EveryDayIsADuvetDay · 30/12/2020 19:40

Hope that your cat didn't burn his tongue.
Mine is always polite and sneaks things off of my plate with her paw.

I'd maybe just spoon out the bit around where he was eating and let it cool down before you give it to him.

AtleastitsnotMonday · 30/12/2020 19:43

Nooooooo I’m not fussy about germs but that’s grim.

Bookworming · 30/12/2020 19:43

I'd maybe just spoon out the bit around where he was eating

Would it be obvious where he was eating?

I wouldn't serve it, I love animals, but they lick their bums and don't brush their teeth Envy

MaLarkinn · 30/12/2020 19:43

To be honest his arse must be spotless as he’s was hell hell for leather at it about an hour ago Grin

I’ve spooned out the bit he licked and reheated it and the humans can have what’s left.

I’d eat it myself so I don’t feel too bad dishing it up to everyone else.

PodgeBod · 30/12/2020 19:44

If you know where it ate from I would scoop a bit out.
If not, I would pretend I had never seen it Wink

MaLarkinn · 30/12/2020 19:44

@Bookworming hello again Smile
He’s only licked the edge of it really. At least the cat likes my cooking!

OP posts:
afinethingindeed · 30/12/2020 19:44

Nooo, that is so grim. I really wouldn't want to eat at the house of anyone who thinks it's ok either.

princessjasmineofagrabah · 30/12/2020 19:47

Absolutely not - the germs on cats arseholes. Honestly gagging at the thought. Bin it and get a takeaway!

Imapotato · 30/12/2020 19:48

I’d still eat it.

Bookworming · 30/12/2020 19:48

@MaLarkinn love the arse must be clean idea!

MaLarkinn · 30/12/2020 19:51

@afinethingindeed extra flavour no? Grin

OP posts:
afinethingindeed · 30/12/2020 19:55

@MaLarkinn haha not for me thanks! Enjoy your dinner

MysweetAudrina · 30/12/2020 19:58

If I was just my own family then yes but anyone else, no.

HarrietSchulenberg · 30/12/2020 19:59

Yes, I'd just spoon out the bit that's been licked and serve the rest up. For those who are gagging and pearl clutching at the thought, just don't ever buy ready meals, processed foods or takeaways Grin

MaLarkinn · 30/12/2020 20:00

@afinethingindeed it won’t be my dinner Wink

JumpLeadsForTwo · 30/12/2020 20:01

Had this last week - spooned out a big chunk as he had only been at it for a second when my back was turned. All family members survived Grin

sbhydrogen · 30/12/2020 20:03

I'd still eat it 😂

PopThatBootyForStNick · 30/12/2020 20:04

I'd just scoop the bit that was licked out 🤷🏼‍♀️ What a waste to throw an entire meal away 🙄

WhatTiggersDoBest · 30/12/2020 20:16

Boak.
