Is my friend a psychic?!

Posting here for traffic really!

My friend messaged me yesterday saying she had a dream I was 6 weeks pregnant.

My periods have always been like clockwork and I’ve never been late for a period, ever.

I’ve always tracked my cycles and keep an eye on my calendar just so I can plan things around my schedule and looking at it now, it’s showing I am 2 days late.

Is my friend a psychic or is this just a coincidence?

Dreams mean nothing I hope although you may well be pregnant if you are usually regular.

A 2 day late period doesn't mean you actually are pregnant? I often have dreams about friends having babies, we're early thirties and it's a whacking great societal pressure and a common theme and and behold most of them do have a baby at some point. Perhaps she suspects you are for her own reasons and is trying to fish the info out of you or something OP.

I actually don't rhink I'd text a friend this, it's a bit weird and potentially upsetting if they have private or personal issues relating to pregnancy or trying to conceive etc.

Surely the best way to find that out rather than asking us is go get a test.

Even if you are pregnant she's about four weeks out...

I find Granny Weatherwax's theory of 'headology' to be apt in most cases of apparent 'woo' - ie. ideas planted by someone or formed under the radar by low-level sensory processing.

I would say that dreams can be manifestations of our subconscious, so there may be circumstances about your life that make pregnancy likely/possible and her brain has been processing these without realising. If you've seen her recently, it's possible her senses have detected something but not at a conscious level. If you haven't seen her, your circumstances may make the theory possible. Either scenario may have led to her producing this dream.

Have you taken a pregnancy test??

When I would have been 4 weeks pregnant dd1 then age 3 told me I had a baby in my tummy and it was a boy. Periods, birth control and breastfeeding dd2, ignored it as the ramblings of a child. 8 weeks later tummy looked bigger, positive test found out I was 3 months pregnant with ds.

4 months before this DH had a dream that we had another child and it was a boy.

OP I think your friend is fishing - people like to be first to spot a pregnancy, and they like to be considered psychic.

I dreamed the other day that I woke up and my son was late for work.

I hope that's the only dream that comes true though as I keep dreaming I'm pregnant. My boyfriend had a vasectomy 25 years ago so that would be a big bloody shock!

I am sceptical about this subject but I had a similar incident that I still can’t explain.

Two years ago I came home from a night out and was tipsily scrolling through Instagram. I saw a picture of my friends and for some reason I saw a circle around my female friend’s stomach, I had an overwhelming feeling that she was pregnant (absolutely didn’t look like she was, very slim etc). This picture had come on my recent post list even though it was 2m old.
The next day I text the male friend (her husband) as I am closer to him about what I saw, in a jokey way. Turns out she was 2m pregnant and they had just announced it to family the night before, he asked me for lottery numbers and we are still bemused by this now!

I dreamt that a distant cousin of mine was pregnant with twin boys. This was weird, because the said cousin lives in New York and we are not close

Well are you pregnant? Loads of women are 2 days late so if you haven't taken a test then who knows.

I dreamt a girl I work with was pregnant turned out she was after years of infertility (at point of my dream even she didn't know) I've also guessed 2 other work colleagues are pregnant before they found out but didn't say till they announced.
