Anyone got a greige (grey-beige) paint shade?

I'm looking for greige paint recommendations for a kitchen wall. Somebody did recommend F&B Purbeck Stone but I want something lighter (and preferably more wipeable than F&B). Any suggestions?

Dulux perfectly taupe

Perfectly taupe is definitely greige.

Second Egyptian cotton. We have it in a few rooms and looks slightly different in each light so would recommend testing.

Elephants Breath? But get valspar to mix rather than buying F&B?

Egyptian cotton is gorgeous. Quite dark in my bedroom, light and airy in the kitchen!

Valspar putty white or feathers of a dove.

I like egyptian cotton too. If you go for perfectly taupe make sure you do a tester. It looked very lilac in my house and I ended up painting over it.

Polished Pebble by Dulux

Another vote for Egyptian Cotton.

The shade looks different depending on the lighting.

Where there is more light it takes on a more light grey colour and upstairs where it's more soft light it shows the beige tones.

I've attached photos so you can see.

Little Greene "Rolling Fog". Comes in several depths of colour.

She will sort you out and mix whichever colour you choose- I love the scrubbable trade Matt emulsion and it’s much cheaper than F&B and amazing quality.

Edgecomb gray from Benjamin Moore is a lovely greige

Deluxe Egyptian cotton is griege. Got it in several rooms.

luanmapo · 03/11/2020 20:02

Definitely Dulux Egyptian cotton, gorgeous greyish, mossy, beige colour.
Just done my kitchen in it too. Make sure you buy the easycare range as Matt look, but wipeable.

ODFOx · 03/11/2020 20:03

Wickes Stone. Similar to the Dulux Egyptian cotton but slightly darker.

Hoppinggreen · 03/11/2020 20:03

I’ve got polished pebble in my hallway, bit more grey than beige
