To ask if anyone has this Be-Ro cookbook and can help me out?

I had a Be Ro recipe book which had the best recipe for cranberry and coconut flapjacks. I've searched everywhere for it and it appears that DHay have thrown it out by mistake as he thought it was an advertising pamphlet...

It had a blue cover and I'm pretty sure it was the 40th anniversary edition. Is there a kind soul on here who has it and would he able to send me the flapjack recipe until I get a replacement?

Bonus: AIBU to LTB for throwing out what is obviously a cookbook on the shelf next to all the other cookbooks "by mistake"?

My 40th edition doesn't have any flapjack recipes in. Is there more than one edition numbered 40?

The other recipes on the coconut meringue slice page are for biscuits and gingerbread men.

@BarbaraofSeville - how strange😀 In my 40th edition, the Syrup Flapjacks are at the bottom of Page 15 below Coconut Meringue Slices and Gingerbread People. Almond Biscuits are opposite on Page 16.
The ISBN on the back cover ends in 0586

I can't work out how to rotate the picture for easier viewing, it was only yesterday I learned how to use a QR code when I went out for lunch and that was how you joined the queue and looked at the menu.

At the beginning of Lockdown I cleared my kitchen shelf and discovered I had 51 cookbooks. On going through them I sorted out six that I actually use. I have offered all the others around in my friends circle, they all just google if they are looking for something.Charity shops for books don't exist where I live. Dump? It breaks my heart to throw away any book. The remaining 45 are still piled in a corner waiting for a taker.
P.S. I didn't buy them all, people know I love to cook and bake and i got most of them as gifts.

Two of the flapjack recipes provided do contain flour.

Here in the US we use flapjacks interchangeably with pancakes, which most certainly contain flour. What do you all call flapjack?

Thanks everyone. So turns out I was BU because the recipe I wanted isn't in that cookbook! Its from a Tate and Lyle one instead- doh!

steff13 flapjacks usually just contain butter, golden syrup, sugar and oats (sometimes with added bits such as fruit, seeds, nuts or choc chips).

@BarbaraofSeville - curiouser and curiouser. Your copy has the same ISBN but where you have a gap at the bottom of Page 15 that's where the Syrup Flapjacks appear. Page 16 is identical. Maybe yours is like those rare postage stamps where there's something missing and it's worth a fortune!

I have the 17th edition anyone have an older one??! And my favourite flapjack recipe has flour in; I much prefer it as it’s more chewy.
