just cos I am nearly 39 weeks pregnant, tired due to getting up with 19 month old DD every fecking morning at half 6, hormonal and irrational?
He was loading the dishwasher earlier as 'you don't look as if you are going to' so I burst into tears and said I was(quite a reasonable response from a pregnant woman to a snippy comment, I thought)
He then asked when as I had been on pc all morning and I said I had to as it is the only comfy chair cos I feel sick and my back hurts and I am fed up of being pregant and I am tired and he just sighed and went to get ready for work.

AND he didn't kiss me OR DD goodbye.

AND I have just rung to have a nice chat and he hasn't gone into work early, he's gone for a ride first so he isn't even answering his phone.

I might spit in his supper.

I have rung again and it is doing that telltale thing where it rings a few times and THEN goes to answerphone, so he is blatantly avioding me now.

Agree with PC. Just ignore him and remind him that in a week or so, you will be going through labour - not him!

It's just the way he does that man thing of doing it as loudly as possible, with lots of huffing and puffing so I know he is doing it and what a kind, loving, thoughtful husband he is.

When I just want to shout at him cos he is messing up my routine (and doing it wrong! He put the baking trays in and now everything smells funny!)

Kathy, cos he gets up for work at 6 and leaves at half 6, so as DD wakes up then I have to get up. Today he was on a late as he was working until 10 last night.

I don't mind that, I just wish he'd appreciate that sometimes I want to spend a couple fo hours doing fuck all without him (unintentionally) making me feel like a lazy cow!

He would be gutted if he read this as he honestly thinks he is helping as well

I chinned him the other night by accident HappyDaddy and he went into a major sulk.
He had come to bed after me and was going to lie down as I lifted the duvet up and got him a good one with my elbow. I promptly burst into hysterical sniggers and he slept in the spare room as I couldn't stop laughing....

Chirpygirl, this is what dh and i argue about often, but this week he had to go to a gov meeting straight after work on tues, so out of house 9.30, home at 10.00 at night, had got some midge bites that were infected n his legs so after have beans on toast for tea (hey, i made the toast and warmed the beans!) went up to hospital coz legs were ballooning, got hme after 12.00, then last night he got in at 7.30, i had got tea cooking while putting dd to bed so dh did all ironing and told me to sit down and watch diy sos! So your dh may have a sudden fit of unexpected helpfulness!

Can't go out (much as I'd love to) as we have no money and he is working every day for the overtime.
Which is probably why he is knackered and grumpy too.
Which doesn't help me much!

Pre pregnancy we'd go for a ride on his bike together into the country but I can't even do that now.

Ugh yes, the 'I've done this for you' thing
Drives me mental! He has 3 or 4 chores, changing lightbulbs, emptying bins, cleaning birdcages out and hoovering round bird cages....all stuff I can't do as it involves lifting, and I am always thanking him for it!

walbert - I doubt it, but will let you know if he does! his mum is coming to look after DD when I go into labour so he will just get her to do it all for him!
