subtle ways to say "fuck you"

strictlymomdancing · 04/02/2020 09:04

I just got an email from someone I'm having a bit of a disagreement with (won't go into details, but work related) and it is signed 'take care'.

And it just makes me think she's telling me to fuck off.

What do other MNetters think?

It just got me thinking, what other ways are there to say "fuck you" in a subtle way?

My sister lives in the states and its common over there to say "bless your heart"

And we know Mrs Brown - "that's nice".

Anything else?

If I write "I hope it works out" I mean your batshit mo-fo

Mistystar99 · 04/02/2020 09:05

"Fondest Regards"

icecreamsundae32 · 04/02/2020 09:06

"With respect"

SympatheticSwan · 04/02/2020 09:08

I notice some people use "kindly" when they are, err, a bit annoyed. As in "kindly provide" etc.

Lifeasweknow · 04/02/2020 09:09

Regards, Strictly.

Do not put 'Kind regards'

norealshepherds · 04/02/2020 09:11

Just ‘Regards’

DappledThings · 04/02/2020 09:12

I've seen "may you get all the happiness you deserve" on the leaving card of someone we were only all too pleased to see the back of

Livpool · 04/02/2020 09:13

Someone has beaten me to it but I always 'Regards' rather than Kind regards' if I want to tell them to fuck off.

I also say 'As per your your e mail' too

strictlymomdancing · 04/02/2020 09:13

One I hate to receive is "I'm sorry you feel that way"

notanotherjigsawpiece · 04/02/2020 09:14

may you get all the happiness you deserve

I was the recipient of this on a FB message on my wedding day, from a friend I’d sort of fallen out with. It was definitely a “fuck you” and made me laugh Grin

wrongsideofhistorymyarse · 04/02/2020 09:14

Mumsnet mods use 'Go Well' when responding to snippy posts. I use that on Twitter as a subtle 'fuck you very much'.

OverthinkingThis · 04/02/2020 09:14

Start your response with "Thank you for your email."

LuluBellaBlue · 04/02/2020 09:15

Yes I use:
Regards,
Or
Best,

Historydweeb · 04/02/2020 09:15

With respect, intercourse yourself

MyOwnSummer · 04/02/2020 09:15

@icecreamsundae32 has it... but for emphasis I would write "with the greatest possible respect..."

ivfbabymomma1 · 04/02/2020 09:16

"As per my last email" as in fucking read it properly the first time!!!

MartyrGuacamole · 04/02/2020 09:22

Yes, 'as per my email dated ... (please see attached)'

'Regards'

'I would kindly suggest/request'

'Please see attached' - and nothing else - is the biggest 😂

OriginalBleach · 04/02/2020 09:26

Aww how lovely for you

You must be so proud

said to smug people

JoJothesquirrel · 04/02/2020 09:30

There seems to have been some confusion (because you are a fucking idiot)

But “I’m sorry you feel that way” is a big fuck you. That’s what I say to the kids when they ate whinging about not getting to stay up till midnight playing xbox.

MrsToothyBitch · 04/02/2020 09:32

"Kindly" do something or "as per my email". Signing off with "regards" not "kind regards". I'm also that bitch that sends "A gentle reminder".

Smellbow · 04/02/2020 09:35

I use "Please let me know if I can help further."

Everyone knows I mean eff off and leave me alone.

ZacharyQuack · 04/02/2020 09:36

"I don't think I explained that very well" = why don't you fucking read what I wrote, you utter nitwit

SympatheticSwan · 04/02/2020 09:36

Also "I appreciate it is an incredibly busy time for you..." (aka I just observed you browsing gym gear on the internet for half an hour)

Squashpocket · 04/02/2020 09:44

"Ahh, good for you"

Said to people who are showing off.
