Dh constantly tells me I have big feet for a woman.

I’m a size 8 and 5ft9.

What size are you?

4/5 depending on shop / style.

2 friends are about 5'10 and a size 7 and 8. They both joke they have boat feet but would be unbalanced and fall over with smaller feet.

A woman I worked with previously had size 3 feet. She had to go to her home country (Lithuania) to buy heels to fit her.

poppym12 · 29/01/2020 12:17

5'8 and anything between a 4.5 and 6 depending on brand and style.

Jocasta2018 · 29/01/2020 12:18

5ft tall. Right foot size 2, left foot size 2.5 so end up taking size 3!
My mother is 5ft 6 & takes a 5.5.
My grandmother was 4ft 10 & took a size 1.
It's a family thing.....

BanSprouts · 29/01/2020 12:18

I'm 5ft4 and I wear a UK size 3

Osra · 29/01/2020 12:19

5ft3 and a size 3 shoe

Halloweenbabyy · 29/01/2020 12:19

Varies I have shoes from 7-9. I’m 5ft8.

Thurmanmurman · 29/01/2020 12:20

Size 4, 5 foot 2. If you are 5'9 then obviously your feet will be bigger!

SparkleTwilight · 29/01/2020 12:21

I’m 5ft8 and size 4.5 or 5.

My DD is 9 and is the same shoe size as me. I reckon her feet will be bigger than mine, she’s very tall for her age.

coffeeagogo · 29/01/2020 12:21

6'1 and size 10/ Euro 44 shoe shopping is the bain of my life

Spanielsanddaughters · 29/01/2020 12:25

5’10 and size 9.
I don’t know why retailers haven’t caught up with growing average.
Size 9 are often sold out, above that I rarely see options.
School shoe shopping used to bring me to tears.

Thestrangestthing · 29/01/2020 12:25

Almost 5'10 and a size 8. Sometimes I can squeeze into a 7 when it's converse or some trainers, but generally an 8 and always a 9 in sandals with toe posts, I try and stear clear of them though. I did get birkenstocks last year, pretty sure they were a 7!

Apileofballyhoo · 29/01/2020 12:26

Size 7 and about 5'4. I have a long big toe, so need 7 to fit it in - but the rest of my foot is small and narrow so often size 7 is way too big and wide and I flop in and out of the ankle. It's very annoying.

Sandals I can do a 6 just the tip of my toe is at the edge. If I'm lucky 6 and a half or size 40. Size 41 is usually much too big.

Boots work better because I'm not coming out at the ankle.

Me too, I always had bigger feet. Also trying to get school trousers with longer legs was horrendous.

Ijustwanttoretire · 29/01/2020 12:28

size 9 - 5'8" - anyone noticed how many women on here are size 9 - yet trying to buy size 9s is like finding the holy grail! Deichmanns are excellent (even got a size 10 once) but nowhere else does them (shops - I won't buy shoes on line)

itbemay1 · 29/01/2020 12:30

5ft 11 and a size 8

hydeandrun · 29/01/2020 12:30

surprised by all these big feet (7+).

I have a 7 myself and none of my friends or colleagues has a 7. I get always comments re my big feet. Most of my friends/colleagues/family are between 4 and 6.

ISpeakJive · 29/01/2020 12:45

5'8" and size 4.5. 5 is too big, 4 a little tight....

DearTeddyRobinson · 29/01/2020 12:48

5'10", size 7, was 6.5 before kids though!
My DH is 6'1" and size 12, I'm constantly tripping over his shoes HmmGrin

MissCalamity · 29/01/2020 12:49

Same as you Heyjude20

I consider myself in proportion, otherwise I'd fall over a lot more!

f00k · 29/01/2020 12:49

5'2 and size 4.

LashesZ · 29/01/2020 12:50

5 ft 3 and a size 2. My man had size 1s and was a ballerina. Unfortunately I didn't inherit her shape Grin

animaginativeusername · 29/01/2020 12:52

I'm size 7.5, or 7 with Clark's and dr martens, and 5ft7

ColaFreezePop · 29/01/2020 12:53

@hydeandrun I have long legs and a short body. People seem to think I'm really short until I stand up.

I actually have bigger hands than my DP even though he's taller than me. (He has a long body and short legs.) We like confusing children by showing them the size of our hands.

caringiscreepy · 29/01/2020 12:54

2.5 and I'm 5"0

19lottie82 · 29/01/2020 12:54

5’9” and a size 6
