I had a simple choice of 3 ... Conservative, Labour or lib Dem.

Sad to see NO other options. No green, no brexit, no independents, no monster raving loony.

A bit rubbish really

Voted labour

How much choice did you have?

4 options. 2 have no chance in this area.

cheesydoesit · 12/12/2019 17:08

5 or 6 but only two are serious contenders.

ThisIsSanta · 12/12/2019 17:10

4 options and disappointed that three of those had not joined forces tbh.

Tableclothing · 12/12/2019 17:11

The main 3
The Greens
The Brexit Party

It is an extremely safe seat for one of the main 3. It was nice to see an absence of the more extreme nationalists this time round.

elliejjtiny · 12/12/2019 17:13

The main 3 plus one independent

Grasspigeons · 12/12/2019 17:13

3 - its a very safe tory seat so the greens and some other party stepped down to encourage tactical voting. . I presume the ukip brexit party didnt stand for similar reasons.

Whattodoabout · 12/12/2019 17:13

5 options. The main three, Yorkshire party and Brexit party. Fuck Brexit party and the Tories.

HoundOfTheBasketballs · 12/12/2019 17:13

Conservative
Labour
Lib Dem
Green
Brexit
Christian Democrats

Fifthtimelucky · 12/12/2019 17:14

Only the main three. Safe Tory seat.

FrappeLatte · 12/12/2019 17:15
  1. Tory, Labour, Lib Dems, Greens and two other parties I’ve never heard of and didn’t even know were an option 🤷‍♀️
bridgetreilly · 12/12/2019 17:15

I just looked it up for something else. 20 constituencies had just 3 candidates. The highest number is 12, in Boris's constituency. Highest ever was 15 (Tony Blair's constituency in 2005). The last time there was an uncontested seat was 1951 (several constituencies in NI). Last time in GB was 1945.

lioness88 · 12/12/2019 17:16

Labour
Conservative
Lib Dem
Green
Independent

Safe Tory seat here.

needsomehelptoday · 12/12/2019 17:16

5 or 6 I think but it's a 2 horse race here

ginghambox · 12/12/2019 17:18
  1. But 4 of them are wasting their time especially the Green and Labour clowns.
needsomehelptoday · 12/12/2019 17:18

Sorry just double checked there was 8 options

luckygreeneyes · 12/12/2019 17:18

4, but I’m in Scotland

Fr0g · 12/12/2019 17:19

main 3, plus:
The Brexit Party
Green
Monster Raving Loony Party

makes sod all difference with first past the post and a whopping majority for the incumbent.

TotheletterofthelawTHELETTER · 12/12/2019 17:20

5 in my constituency
Conservatives
Labour
Lib Dem
Green
Independent

Akire · 12/12/2019 17:21

6 it seemed very short after last time when had least 12

Teachermaths · 12/12/2019 17:23

4

Main 3 and greens.

Marginal Tory seat at the moment so would have preferred greens not to stand as those people would have probably gone Labour.

AdalindMeisner · 12/12/2019 17:30

5 w have a strong gene presence but Labour hold the seat currently . We also have lib dems, cons, brexit. Labour got my vote.

Smilebehappy123 · 12/12/2019 17:31

Vote labour x

ginghambox · 12/12/2019 17:35

Vote labour x
Oh shit why didn't you post earlier I've already voted Conservative.

DontMakeMeShushYou · 12/12/2019 17:36

Only the main 3. It's a marginal seat currently occupied by a Tory.
