Ballot paper - how much choice?

I had a simple choice of 3 ... Conservative, Labour or lib Dem.

Sad to see NO other options. No green, no brexit, no independents, no monster raving loony.

A bit rubbish really

Voted labour

I can't remember how many there were in my area - quite a few including Monster Raving Loony and at least one independent.

Rinoachicken · 12/12/2019 17:37

5, the main three, plus the incumbent MP standing as an independent (ex-conservative booted out by boris) and some guy from the peace party?? (Never heard of them!)

@Smilebehappy123 Damn I would but I already voted conservative.

CharityConundrum · 12/12/2019 17:41

Only the Big Three, but I did have a letter from a former Conservative MP asking me to vote Lib Dem because he is so disappointed with the Tory party, which was an unexpected bit of election fun!

zen1 · 12/12/2019 17:44

4 - Lb, Con, Lib Dem, Gn

I would’ve welcomed an Independent, to be honest.

Turnout here is incredibly low so it was encouraging to see a little queue in the polling station. it's a very safe labour seat, though I think our MP will lose a bit of his majority to the Brexit Party.

It's odd to go voting in the cold, wet dark, when it's usually summer

Brexit .. and there could have been an independent I didn't actually look, I knew who I was voting for and was surprised/distracted to see a Brexit candidate in one of the highest % remain constituencies in the country
