No idea this year.

Ds had a birthday a couple of months ago and had a gaming laptop, so he doesn’t need any technology.

Will get him books, clothes, possibly a bird experience but apart from that I’m pretty stuck this year.

I know this is AIBU but it’s the area I visit most and I know it’s always busy here.

What are you getting your darling teens?

I am in the same boat. All he wants is money which he will squander on bloody roblox, etc. It’s not happening. I am taking him to a music store for inspiration and we will buy some guitar music, etc.

SweetMarmalade · 29/11/2019 23:21

Ds would be the same if he had the money!

Talk about rotting their brains....!

TwoleftUggs · 29/11/2019 23:39

Mine wants air max trainers.

TheDuckSaysMoo · 29/11/2019 23:43

Mine is a gamer who would spend his life on his xbox given the chance but tonight he had a shot on a friend's hoverboard and is desperate for his own now. That's his pressie sorted.

BlueEyedFloozy · 29/11/2019 23:45

My 13yo has asked for a desk and chair.

justilou1 · 29/11/2019 23:51

Honestly would buy mine industrial deodorant if I could without offending him....

PomBearWithAnOFRS · 29/11/2019 23:52

Nice headphones/gaming headset? Ml
Minecraft/Fortnite/SDMN merch?
A "make your own cheese" kit was a massive hit with my no3 son last year when he was 14.
Heeleys? Or a swegway if you have the money.

SchoolNightWine · 30/11/2019 00:00

Top of my DS13's list is a 7ft cuddly teddy ~ £65Shock Apparently some YouTuber uses one as a cushion!

justilou1 · 30/11/2019 09:14

Boys of this age are so diverse in their interests and maturity.... I am totally lost.

Straysocks · 30/11/2019 09:16

Wetsuit

DonPablo · 30/11/2019 09:17

Man shaver, velvetiser, thermal mug, nip and fab products, new (fancy) pants and socks, a headphone pillow thing, an alexa, a voucher for a fancy barber, muji pens and stuff, Rick and morty stuff, a board game are all things on my think about list.

Minky35 · 30/11/2019 09:18

Nike vapourmax trainers. North face hoody.

thegreylady · 30/11/2019 09:21

Dgs is 13. I have bought a puzzle box in which I will put money (what he wants) . He will have to solve the puzzle to get the money! I did this for dgs1 at that age and he loved it. When he solved the puzzle he was so delighted he put the money back and tried to do it again...it took till the afternoon of Boxing Day!

Oneborneverydecade · 30/11/2019 09:23

Nike trainers here too

And yes to deodorant, waste of money though as he doesn't seem to think it's necessary

Oneborneverydecade · 30/11/2019 09:25

donpablo had to Google velvetiser, your DS must REALLY like hot chocolate!

Sallycinammonbangsthedruminthe · 30/11/2019 09:32

How about an escape room experience or a junior driving course or something like that ..loads of experiences on virgin and red letter days....they could have a blast zip wiring or being a zoo keeper for the day or segwaying or something totally different like scuba diving or indoor sky diving theres loads of ideas on there even scuba diving with sharks in an aquarium in skegness!!!!! There are lots of experiences on sale too with discounts...

Belledan1 · 30/11/2019 09:34

I am a bit stuck too for DS 12 nearly 13. Ideas on here great. Thanks for starting it.Mad Gamer too. DS was quite interested in to fosils when away so get some art thing connected. Likes art so thinking getting an art stand. I like cheese idea. Model making set. Was thinking of cinema vouchers or day out voucher to castle or something. BM have some good stocking fillers for older kids like super noodle sets, Pringles, Funky biscuit tins etc. Board games.

Sallycinammonbangsthedruminthe · 30/11/2019 09:52

another idea...concert tickets for a fave band maybe?

SweetMarmalade · 30/11/2019 10:58

Some fab ideas and suggestions.

Man shaver Grin love this! Ds keeps proudly showing me the ‘bum fluff’ he’s slowly growing above his top lip! You can just about see it when it catches the light Grin

Keep on posting please. The only things I’ve bought so far are the usual Guinness World Records, Ripley’s Believe it or not 2020 albums and Would you rather book! Slightly panicking!

I’m going to have a sit down later and a thorough read through the thread.

@DonPablo do you mind me asking which pillow you’ve bought? I’ve seen one in the Black Friday sale from Very reduces from £59 to £34. Never heard of music pillow but thought this might be something Ds would love, possibly.
