To find Naga Munchetty ridiculously irritating

Every single time I turn on BBC Breakfast she says something that makes me say "shut up you idiot" out loud.

Today:
They're talking about reusable bags/bags for life and increasing the price of them.

They're interviewing a lady from Greenpeace and Naga's argument is "well it would make things easier if they just put signs up saying 'don't forget your bags' at the supermarket."
Every supermarket I've been to in the last 2 years has these signs.

I know it's a really minor one today but I find her incredible irritating and I've been up with the baby since 4am after she woke at 11pm, 2:30am and 3:30am even though she normally sleeps all the way through so I'm extra tetchy

I agree it. Naga can be quite irritating- which is interesting as she has very little tolerance of others!

I have found her rather irritating, but only in recent weeks.

I don't know quite what I think is different. Though I have noticed a few barbed comments to fellow presenters (one in particular) enough to make me wonder if there had been a falling out. Perhaps that's it, she seems more waspish? Which isn't what one expects on the morning sofa

I also find her really annoying, as well as that her co presenter whatever his name is. They have no charisma or chemistry.
Also find Victoria Derbyshire really annoying these days, I think she comes across as rude.

My local supermarket doesn't have those signs. Or I dont see them. But I need a sign on my front door. Too late when you already get to the supermarket.

I really like Naga! But you have a non- sleeping baby so you get to be irritated by whoever you like

@Eyezswideshut to be honest by the time I get to the supermarket door I think "ah too late I'm here now" even if the bags are in the boot

I think it is telling that an intelligent woman who occasionaly speaks her mind is "irritating" and "waspish".

@McT123 I find her really dismissive and abrupt.

Sometimes she appears very intelligent but then she just says something really rude and unnecessary and it bothers me

I find her really irritating. I said to DH a few weeks ago her job is to present the news not comment on it. If she had stuck to that she wouldn’t have got into trouble with the equally annoying Dan.

I've always liked Naga but in the last few weeks I've found her irritating. I actually mentioned to DH this morning that she was being very annoying. She's so snappy.

I love Dan, but he recently seems to have become very full of himself.....

Naga is usually the only one who actually challenges politicians, rather than smiling and letting them spout bullshit.

I don't think Naga and Charlie get on - both seem to be seething when on air together. Naga likes to talk over guests and it is fucking annoying first thing in the morning.
I can't watch BBC1 morning news anymore makes me pissed off at the start of the day.
