I have absolutely no motivation

While it's freezing cold and pitch black for all the hours I'm not at work, I have absolutely no motivation to do anything. I just want to be in bed. I feel so so tired all the time. No energy or motivation or desire to do anything apart from watch TV or sleep. Any tips, anything I can do? Feeling really crap.

It's tough this season. I'm almost a completely different person, for the worst, but my job is busy so that gets me moving. Do you work or volunteer at all?
I did a stress and anxiety mgmt programme a few yrs ago and this was a task. Write a list of all the things you'd like to, or need to do, from reading a novel to ironing, to going for a walk to changing the bed.
Next, draw up a blank timetable for yourself with hourly time slots on the lefthand column and days of the week across the top. Fill in what you have to do, e.g travel to work, stay at work, commute home etc. Wherever there's an hour free, say between 7-8pm, try and slot in something from your list of things you'd like / need to do. By timetabling a few pleasant or useful activities, you are more likely to do them, get pleasure from them or from the result if it's a chore and, in turn, lift your mood. I hope you start to feel better.
